My mom is taking a pottery workshop in San Miguel Allende so I tagged along with the family. I noticed this local woman about to pass through this dramatically lit scene and had to stop to capture it. This shot reminds me of another I took last year in Santiago, Chile, found further down in my feed. I love finding these little slivers of light.

Home to hydro-history.
Constructed between 1812 and 1872 and in operation until 1909, the Fairmount Water Works along the Schuylkill River was the first water supply in the nation to use paddle wheels to pump water. The building also housed the Philadelphia Aquarium from 1911 until 1962. Now, the National Historic Landmark serves as a stunning event venue that offers breathtaking views of the @PhilaMuseum and Boathouse Row.
Many people are shocked at how much I‘ve done in my life and how young I am. People tell me I’ve done more than some people in their 50s.
BUT this is just the beginning for me - (just a quick snippet) from graduating with a degree in Urban Planning Design + Sustainability, helping design plans for small towns in Indiana, to being a fisherwomen and living on the sea in Alaska, to living in a van climbing all over the western USA, to going in & out of jobs in California looking for meaning and purpose. To learning and teaching yoga in Mexico & US, to finding a more permanent residence in Colorado, where I took on the startup tech scene working for small companies at first, to helping Uber develop their driverless car project, to technology upcycling companies, to living in Hong Kong launching a tech office, to coming back to the USA being somewhat unsatisfied but having more success and money than I had ever imagined. But somehow it wasn’t what I was after so off to Austria I went.
Now, here I am.
How do you pick just one thing to share for #MusNature day?! Many of the museum's exhibits celebrate nature, but the Exploring Michigan gallery is always a favorite! The life-size dioramas and hidden creatures are big crowd-pleasers. 🐻🐸🦉🌿 Learn more about our #GreatLakesState with a fun trip to the museum!

Apparently this is the desert and not a tropical paradise. If that wasn't enough, I'm taking this picture from inside a cave and if that wasn't enough, my third hot spring of the float is literally around the corner... Who saw my raft right away?
Time to celebrate! 😎 Congratulations to all Lead Climbing School graduates! 🎓🧗🏻♀️🧗🏻♂️ We’re proud of your quest for rock solid knowledge (you see what we did there?) 😉 Thanks AMC member @krisp.in for the photo! .
🗓 PS. Tomorrow is our monthly meeting! Won’t you join us? All are welcome. Meeting details in the link in our bio.
When this is the view from the hot spring you find at the side of the river and have it all to yourself.
You can see the spring seeping out of the bottom right corner of the picture.

A Mdina piccoli e grandi palazzi raccontano la storia di Malta. Uno di questi è Palazzo Falson, una dimora medievale maltese perfettamente conservata nelle cui stanze è possibile andare alla scoperta della storia dell'arcipelago. .
Just go. .
Life is always going to be crazy - especially with kids, school, work, sports, piles of laundry and a messy house to clean. Sometimes the thought of planning, packing, driving, and dealing with kids out of their element (hello meltdowns!) makes me second guess our trips. When those thoughts start creeping in I double down and just focus on what needs to happen to get us there. Why? Because I have yet to regret any of our trips to date - however big or small they end up being! We hemmed and hawed over this Tahoe trip in particular and I am SO freaking glad we followed through. The laundry? Yea it’ll always be there for me when I’m good and ready to do it! Just. Go.

Last few days in a cold weather before I’m leaving for hot Bali! 😍 Every season has its own characteristics in Slovakia, summers are hot and winters cold. I do love skiing and being in a snowy wonderland BUT I do love summer more, I have to say! Less clothes needed, sun gives me more energy, and I love summer evenings! And if I’m close to the sea and beach, it just makes me happy haha.
Which one do you prefer, summer or winter, and why? ❄️☀️

Lately, @aksoccer6 has been super stoked to learn his way around a camera. It’s been really fun (and a little adorable) hitting the trails and teaching him the basics on some of my older equipment. He’s been even more stoked that @geardotcom has an awesome selection of outdoor focused camera gear! I totally know where I’ll be doing his Christmas shopping this year 😏 #gearpartner

As shocking as it might seem.. I’m not a morning person 😂 getting up for sunrise is hard! Especially in the winter. But being in a warm desert for sunrise helps 😜
