There are so many exciting parts of your wedding day, but one of the best parts is when you can have your Mumma after you’ve just say “I Do”. Hugs and kisses/ congratulations, as I like to call it, straight after the ceremony is so important and should really have time to do this.
The last couple of days I’ve had several emails from my new clients, that seem to have their wedding timeline planned for them and have been told what they have to do and how it should be done… I think this is appalling!!! The day is all about you and your partner. It is not anyone else’s day. If you want the day to run a specific way, then do it. Others can give you tips and ideas, but ultimately… This is your wedding!! It makes me so mad that the joy is taken away from you. Sorry, rant over.
My beautiful makeup trial today...the MOB for a wedding in a couple weeks. It’s so very important as a makeup artist to give clients what they want...Pam arrived and showed me her go to products and colors and we rocked it out from there keeping in mind what she is wearing for the evening event...I always want to make sure I LISTEN and make people feel comfortable. Can’t wait to paint her again very soon. #motherofthebridemakeuptrial#makeupconsult#weddingmakeupartist#bridalmakeupla

How amazing is my mumma 🥰
I’m often asked if I do mature women’s makeup too? Of course I do 😊🙌🏼 I love making any one of ANY age feel beautiful.. BUT please keep in mind that I CANNOT remove wrinkles, fine lines and/or texture. However I do try my best to minimise these things. I know.. I wish I was a magician too!
People of all ages can have lines, unwanted texture and pores etc it’s ok, that’s what real skin looks like.
You can (and you should) look after your skin, wear sunscreen daily, invest in regular facials by a skin expert. These things will all help your skin improve over TIME. Consistency is key.
