This is real life. This is one of the things that motivates me, my mentor Lucy; it’s been a long long time since I have felt truly appreciated beyond my home/personal life. I run my own business, yes, I am my own boss, yes but that doesn’t mean I’m on my own, the community I have been welcomed into since joining usborne has been Incredible. The support I receive from the rest of my team and my mentor has been invaluable they have helped me celebrate my successes and picked me up when I have needed a boost. Self-love is an action, not a state of feeling good. It is a ritual, like yoga. You have to learn, read, discover, and keep searching.
1. Become aware of your inner voice
Notice what you tend to tell yourself most often.
2. Take control of your inner voice
Cancel something nasty in your mind. Say something supportive, loving and caring to yourself.
3. Treat yourself like a child
We all have inner children in ourselves. Tuning into that inner child allows you to look at yourself without judgment.
4. Love yourself emotionally and physically
To befriend yourself and feel completely happy and whole even when there is nobody else next to you.

Monday motivation. The big dreams that you’ve always wanted? Even the small ones that make you come alive? Nine of them are going to happen without you going after them. 👍🏻 I’ve been imagining how I will feel internally when I reach some of my big goals. I’ve been embodying how amazingly good I will feel with every fiber of my being. A little silly perhaps. And then feeling all those joyful sensations right now. 💪🏼 And with that joy, I start to create. The process is one of joy.

𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊: If you want working out to be part of your 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 (((whether its to lose weight, set the example for your kiddos, get off meds, fit into those fall jeans, feel better in your skin, or a # of other reasons we have for wanting to live healthier lifestyles)))... then you need to prioritize it as part of your 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.
Even when tired. Even when busy af. Even when traveling. Even with an always-on-the-move baby. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I wouldn’t have always worked out while on vacay, but 5 years ago, I decided enough was enough — I was tired of hating the skin I was in. It took me falling in love with a workout program >> seeing results >> learning what healthy nutrition FEELS like >> and then surrounding myself with a group of supportive women to finally change my lifestyle for the long haul. But now I LOVE starting my day with 20-30 minutes of soooomething to intentionally move my body.
And the best part is Wolf is seeing me do this and actually ENJOY it. (((Can’t believe I’m able to say that!! 🙌🏼😍)))
A couple things that helped me get in a workout today:
1️⃣ I switched around my workout schedule so we could do “no weights required” routines while traveling.
2️⃣ My trainer is virtual, my gym is any 5 ft space, and my routines are streamed from my 📲 or 💻. That makes for an easy travel solution. (Or at home or to do at the gym - so really anywhere!😜)
3️⃣ Energize (my pre workout “stop hitting snooze” drink that I seriously looooove💕💕💕) — you think it’s easy to get out of bed when I haven’t had a full night’s sleep since my second trimester about 15 months ago? Hellllllls no it’s not! 😂 This mama is whooooped!
👉🏼But bottom line: I’ve got goals, and excuses won’t help me reach them!👈🏼

STORY TIME— so this photo was taken right after a super vulnerable conversation with @hannahlyter ✨ During her visit to the city, we spent a few hours gallivanting around SoHo on our first IRL blogger date! @hannahlyter convinced me to FINALLY pop by @chachamatcha where we talked all about our mutal love for fashion, but more importantly discussed the impact we believe REAL women sharing their REAL stories, vulnerabilities, and bodies have had on both of our lives (AND this industry.) I’ll be honest...it got really REAL and I LOVE that! You see, there was a time a few years ago that I would have seen this photo and edited out my slight double chin, or worse— kept myself from sharing it at all. But because of authentic women sharing their body struggles and success stories with me, I saw this photo and I jumped up and down BEYOND excited to share it with you! Because I’ve learned to truly love myself EXACTLY the way I am, I think “who cares about a little double chin we ALL have that literally NO ONE else can see?” ...my friends, it’s crazy what a little perspective and self love can do for self image! And I pray EVERY. DAY. I can offer this community just a hint of confidence to be more YOU💛 📷 shoutout to real women like @hannahlyter —be sure to follow along with her journey too!
