Smack in the middle of a stressful sitch? Get up! Do a few stretches...start dancing to your own made up beats...scream, laugh, cry. Just move. Your mood will change...trust. Dance 💃🏻 party is my fav.

Taking a break for even a quick 10 min walk outdoors can have major affects on & improve your mood. Simply put-nature is healing...vitamin D from the sun ☀️ helps to set a healthy circadian rhythm (30 min ea am is best!) & sets you up for a successful reduction in anxiety.

I could of scrolled for 30 min, I could of sat on the couch and watched TV, I could of cleaned the house. Instead I went for a run. I got outside and I did it. Afterwards I was so happy that is how I spent my time.
It was a great reminder that we have limited hours in the day but can control how we use them. I work with my clients on this a lot because it’s easy to make excuses and convince yourself to not to the difficult thing. But, once you do it, once you rip the bandaid off, it’s totally worth it. Use your time wisely and don’t let excuses or the easier thing to do get in the way of what will help you grow, feel happier and be healthier.

As someone who has never been able to use any caffeine, no coffee, no energy drinks...and has fatigue issues... this really is my BEA.
It has become an integral part of my Self-care routine.
Because with schedules jam packed, to-do lists longer than ever and millennials feeling pressure to climb the success ladder quickly...self-care is getting sacrificed more and more.
I get it, it's not that you don't want to take care of yourself, but life gets busy.
Other things take priority and before you know it you're too exhausted to do anything. You say maybe tomorrow but then tomorrow comes and goes.
If you could integrate Self-care into your routine easily and without stressing you out, would you love that?

Trying to remind myself of this every time I workout.
As my body changes and simple things aren’t as “easy” anymore I find my progress slow when it comes to working out.
But every day I move my body and get that workout in is a day I am proud of! Even if that workout is a walk with my girls or hubby.
Only 2 weeks left of the challenge left!!

Woohoo Day 2🎊 I’m not sure what I was expecting with this new program but I’m not sure it was this level of intensity. Really glad I don’t have stairs in my house after that leg day and glad tomorrow is rest day but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to see what’s next with this program. It’s a game changer💪🏼I can already tell!! .

Was it what I’d envisioned? Nope.
I had no idea the trail I regularly run during the summer was so snow/ice/slush covered as I never run it during the winter. Was kinda sorta assuming (hoping?) it was plowed + somewhat maintained during the winter but nope.
Was it discouraging? A little bit... #notgonnalie
Did I debate turning around? Not even a little bit.
I was just sooo happy to be outside in the mild weather with the sun on my face that I didn’t even consider turning around once. I had already made up my mind as soon as I stepped outside to make the best of whatever lie ahead + enjoy the time outside even if it meant a slower than usual pace, carefully navigating slippery areas + soaked feet. #didnotcareonebit
The winters can be long + cold here in Maine and repeat indoor workouts on the ‘mill can get old + discouraging so I’m trying to take advantage of each + every little moment of warmth + sun to help power me through until springtime to keep me motivated.
In fact, the last few outside runs on spring-like days already have me excited for the #springrunning season and to get outside on a much more regular basis. The power that fresh air + nature has on my outlook and gratitude truly never ceases to amaze me. #sograteful

There are quite a few things I consume in the morning before I even get around to my morning coffee delight. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2 large glasses of water, my daily dose of antioxidant rich YL Ningxia, a peppermint or green tea, followed by another large glass of water. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It isn’t until I get to work that I finally whip up my morning cup of Joe. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I focus on starting with good quality organic coffee infused with Reishi mushrooms (Organo Gold is my brand of choose), to that I add 1 scoop of Superfood Cacao creamer (Laird Superfood) and 1 scoop of Marine Collagen (Sproos). A quick blitz in a ninja blender and voila! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Geez-Louise it gets hard some days to keep all those supportive choices in line. The best way to set yourself up for success is with a great routine and committing lots of practice and repetition. Sure, not so exciting but soooo supportive. Eventually, with enough practice, those habits become automatic and you’ll find it hard not to do them. 💪🏽📝😘
There is something about transverse plane work which just makes you feel good! Do your clients need that lift that sets them up for the day? Give it a go! It really opens up the thoracic region, delivers great strength and mobility to the hips and improves balance and co-ordination.

Tylko to nas różni.

Sunny Sundays FTW ☀️ Slept in, treated ourselves to coffee, took a long walk in the park (and hunted for 🐿), did some work and now I’m checkin’ things off my to-do list by prioritizing the things that involve walking and being outside! Movement energizes me and keeps me sane - I find that when I move I’m happier and more focused in other areas, too! It doesn’t need to be a “proper” work out - even walking to the grocery store, running errands by foot (as if I have another choice 🤣) or exploring with B does the trick!
