* The first step towards setting the stage for a good nights sleep is by making sure, your baby is getting the right amount of sleep during the day. * Next establish a simple and sustainable nighttime routine. Include soothing and calming practices in order to establish positive sleep associations.
* Teach your baby to self soothe, which means trying your best to soothe them less. * Start weaning nighttime feedings * Create a calm ambiance, with a comfortable temperature.
* Add white noise ( this is a life saver if your baby is a light sleeper )
Once you hit your 30s, the realisation hits you that a healthy lifestyle is no longer optional. If you want to look nice, be fit and stay strong, to keep up with that massive load of responsibility, well then first you need to treat yourself right.
I am all for indulging and having a good time, however I do think that if we learn to limit ourselves, this is a very mindful approach to living right.
Some of the things that you can "limit" and in return seriously see some benefits for you and your body -
1. Limit the number of late nights. A disciplined lifestyle is not only for school children.
2. Limit your consumption of alcohol. Lets leave binge drinking for college students.
3. Limit the frequency of over eating. Limit the intake of junk food. Instead of detox and getting obsessed about eating clean, this approach works better for me.
4. Limit wasting your time on negative thoughts. Meditate to control your mind.

My Number 3 turned 5 today!!! Shes probably the most straight up kid you’ll ever meet! She knows what she wants. Can look down into your soul if she knows your bluffing. Can cry at a drop of a hat! And will smile if you get your way into her heart!! .
Shes one of the smallest in this house. But probably has the biggest heart!! She can teach you how to unhate any situation!! One genuine kid! .

Swaddling is the art of snugly wrapping a baby in a blanket for warmth and security.
Swaddling’s ability to soothe and calm babies has been known around the world for centuries. It recreates the secure and cozy feeling of the womb.
Oh and hey , Swaddled infants tend to fall asleep more quickly and stay asleep more consistently throughout the night. That’s more than reason enough right mama’s ?
Can’t get over this little getaway. What a blessing to begin the kiddo vacations on a good note. .
They’ve sat all day splashing and playing away in the pool. .
Basic things i follow up with them before and after full day pool time.
- apply waterproof sunscreen - hydrate them (especially hot summers) with lemon water, chaas (buttermilk), juices to avoid heat strokes - pull them out when the suns at its peak. Give them a break. A light snack. - try make them where sun caps / swimming caps, ear plugs if required to avoid ear infections. .
After they’re done. Shower them properly and apply a good moisturiser. Give them a nice warm filling meal. .
There’s one more thing I do on my own. Which maybe its best you consult with your Peadiatrician; but I give them a single dose of Crocin or a cold/flu syp at bedtime, to avoid fevers and flus and not stretch it to the antibiotics phase. .

Day 7 VS 11 months. I guess all my weight went to her! Lol. .
Do you know how a basic happy healthy baby grows?? .
Well an ideal growth record would be them doubling their weight bet 4-6 months and tripling their weight at one year. .
So if your baby is 3 kgs at birth. It should be ideally 6kgs bet 4 to 6 months and 9kgs at one year. .
So if you know as a mom you’re child is skinny and someone tells you that or someone says you’re not feeding your baby enough and is at the ideal weight and is active and your Peadiatrician says he’s perfect! You’re doing great and you have nothing to worry about! .
And if you’re on the higher side. That’s a bonus for you! And also there isn’t anything like obesity in babies below 3 years. .
