What is one of your main instincts? One of mine, whenever I'm having a picture of me being taken in the nature is to spread my hands and hug the world. I don't know why, but it's as natural as breathing for me. Because whenever I'm out in the green I feel one with myself and the energy. And it feels NATURAL, it feels right. I see a lot of people trying to find balance in themselves, but balance is everywhere around us. You can reach out to it and hug with wide arms. 🤗 be yourself and hug the world, it includes yourself, too. 🙂❤ Yours crazy millennial Ordinary (Vera)

Loved being part of LinkedIn’s Wellness Week, sharing all the #neurohacks to bust stress and boost performance alongside the awesome team @mindhighclub - @cassie_cameron_ and @asquadcalledsavage 🧠🙏🏻
Wellness and health are often talked about but rarely the priority until something goes wrong. It’s funny how much we take our brain and body’s health for granted, despite the old saying - ‘if you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything’ being resoundingly accurate. 👌🏻
There is an overwhelming amount of scientific evidence, and an uncharacteristically united front from the scientific community that unchecked chronic stress causes and encourages a number of physical and mental illnesses to develop. Yet so often, we think it’s ‘just stress’. 🙄
Rather than list all the stress-related, linked or caused diseases, disorders and dysfunctions (because it is a ridiculously long list) I am going to set you a challenge. 😎
To have time, balance and space you have to create it and starts with creating it in your mind first. Your mind is the only place you will ever live. You are the only thinker there. If you want it to be optimal, you need to optimise it and that starts with countering stress and creating space. 😌
So what are you going to do over the next week to create 15-30mins of space for you to check in with yourself, chill with yourself and create space for yourself to just be? 🤔
“If there's one thing the history of evolution has taught us, it's that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, it expands to new territories, and crashes through barriers painfully, maybe even dangerously, but there it is...life finds a way.” #solohoneymoon
(Totally had a crush on that guy when I was a kid.)
Go far East, you will meet a Dragon 🐉 the guardian of this planet you call home! "The dragon's horns resemble those of a stag, his head that of a camel, his eyes those of a demon, his neck that of a snake, his belly that of a clam, his scales those of a carp, his claws those of an eagle, his soles those of a tiger, his ears those of a cow." --Chinese scholar Wang Fu
Delving deep into the pearls of Oriental wisdom, I found this mythical reference to a wise and old animal, now seemingly extinct. "He can be smaller than small, bigger than big, higher than high, and lower than low." He is the wisest of all!
The remains of these mountain peaks, now lying sober under the emerald blue water shadow of Andaman Sea, adorned with corals and other aqua marine love bites, once had soared high from the low lying grounds of the Earth.
Men lived here. Grazed on the plainland, their precious cattles.
Bouts of climate change brought in mayhem, a catastrophe. Volumes have been written or preserved in oral history of mankind. Noa's arc is the most recent example.
I find the theory of descending dragons the most enamoring!
It is as if men of yore knew they are small, they were fighting with uneven forces of nature, a lost Battle. And then they called upon the mystic power of nature, created wise old animals, whom noone had ever seen before, ever known before, empowered them to the no end and relied on them, to survive, to place their root again.
We all have a few remnants of those invisible roots. Try living your hometown, or closer to home, the plant you grew, the book you brought home, the China of your kitchen.. How soon you can let go?
