Excited like... I had a dream they played Dunedin in the Botanical Gardens but rather than the grandstand they performed in the playground instead 🤣
Chuffed on the announcement but along with Bad Religion I would love to be seeing Sleaford Mods in Auckland in Feb but it's not looking likely.
Not a single bad release from these fellas. I think they keep getting more adventurous with each release which is great and are still at the fore of relevant contemporary music.
Their minimalist and uncompromising approach coupled with dark social commentaries, political satire, self deprecation/reflection and hilarious razor-sharp wit separates them from other current musical 'genres'. Not many groups can have one leg in the mainstream and the other in the underground and still maintain relevance. People tend to compare them to other groups but I think they stand alone with both their sound and attitude.
Christchurch, so beautiful it doesn’t need a filter 😍

TAJ MAHAL This beautiful monument was built in 16th century, by Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. ..
It is regarded by many as the best example of, Mughal architecture and symbol of India's rich history.
The Taj Mahal is also a UNESCO world heritage site and one of Seven wonders of the world.
I wants to thanks my dear friend @arya1293 who take me there.
From Stinky Rotorua to Picton 🇳🇿
On 10th June 1886, Mt Tarawera 🌋 exploded to form an extraordinary array of volcanic features that are showcased in a half day wander through Waimangu Valley. At the top, red aquatic ferns give an unusual look to The Emerald Pool and just down the hill, The World’s largest jacuzzi known as Frying Pan Lake bubbles away. Nature continues to drop your jaw all the way down to Rotomahana Lake.
Go South to Huka Falls to see where unfortunate cricket umpire Peter Plumley-Walker’s body was discovered and thereafter the word dominatrix was introduced to the until then innocent NZ public (google it). There is a great cruise available to view the falls and explore the river downstream that focuses more on the interesting nature rather than the umpire’s tragic end.
The cruise starts at the top of Aratiatia Rapids that are triggered several times a day by the opening of sluice gates that divert the river course from its current Hydro Electric path to its original and spectacular route - don’t miss it.
Wellington is a good 2 day stay but I’d recommend taking some time out to visit the wineries 🍷😄around Greytown and if you go a bit further to Castlepoint you can enjoy some great coast line views. For me, I was finally able to launch the drone having got away from the no fly zones.
Check out the reaction you get at Castlepoint Store if you request Tommy K with your cheese toastie...weird. 🥪 🍅

An unique Boating Experience! The Hydro Attack takes you on a ride in the shark boat that reaches a speed of 80kmph on water and 40kmph under water. Well, that’s not it. The pilot can point the shark towards the sky anytime and blast it into the air, catching you totally off gaurd! It’s simply amazing.

Sea levels are rising, the ocean is filling with plastic & this years winter barely existed... whether you believe it or not, climate change is happening in one way or another! 🌏
It saddens me to think that one day, future generations may not be able to experience the kind of places I have to explored throughout my lifetime.
So I thought I would share a few things that I try to implement on my adventures or in my daily life for a greener footprint 👣
1. Leave only footprints, bring home everything that you took with you.
2. Eat more plants 🌱
3. Take reusable bags, cutlery & cups wherever you go (I’m not always the best at having my @keepcup with me at all times but I’m working on it ☺️).
4. Buying sustainable & ethical products & fashion where I can. @rowiethelabel has to be one of my favourites!
5. Op shopping... I love hunting through @recycleboutiquehamilton for great finds!
6. If I have the ability, I try & walk or bike places.
7. Watch documentaries & educate myself on relevant topics.
Hope you have enjoyed my few tips for a more sustainable future. What are some of yours?

Everyone, I'd like you to meet Birdie. Birdie, this is everyone... 😊 Say hello to my new home on wheels where I'll be exploring New Zealand from for the next few months.
The truth: The first few days were NOT easy. I immediately had to reorganize and reevaluate how we fit everything in this van. @garrett_galvan and I bickered trying to configure our bodies and stuff in a tiny space. We realized what worked and what didn't VERY quickly and adjusted accordingly. The next day was easier. And the day after that was a breeze...
Van life is not for the faint of heart. While I've campervanned in Iceland, road tripped in tons of countries and recently did three weeks in a van on the West Coast of the USA... Those pale in comparison to this experience so far. I've lived out of a bag for nearly eight years now but nothing compares to having that bag explode into a van, with your boyfriend's stuff, and having to secure and organize everything to the T for everything to work. Oh, and having food, water, a kitchen, a bed, and a dining table all in the same space too! (Let's not forget our second battery and solar panels...)
There's a lot to share but I'm too busy getting this road trip started (and still adjusting to this new life). 😊🚐 Plenty more updates to come / you'd know most of this if you were watching IG stories 😜(I also have a van tour and other info on the renovation in my highlights! Go watch!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I treasure this shot - it was difficult to get, almost too difficult! It’s one of those ‘nailed it’ moments when I was in post-editing. Moving boat, moving target also, so, I’m stoked with how the composition turned out!
