The other day we went over to @omnivorebooks to see @chefpierrethiam talk about his book on #fonio .... he is a charismatic speaker who is passionate about food and it was beautiful to hear him share information on Senegal, this drought-resistant sustainable grain, and the way meals can express hospitality and culture and family and kindness and care. I had been meaning to get to this bookstore for ages to see a talk - their event list always looks amazing. So glad I finally did. #sanfrancisco
This is how several 49er fans in my neighborhood rolled (to the Championship game) this morning! Apparently, Valley Tavern in Noe Valley on 24th Street coordinates these trips for all 49er home & playoff games. I think I’ll try this next year instead of driving to games! #noevalley#valleytavernsf#valleytavern#sf49ers
What a beautiful Sunday!!! #sundayfunday with the fam.
Decided it was time to bring the hubs & the kids over the G.G. Bridge 🌉 starting on the Marin side looking into the city.
What a glorious sight!
I think next time we’ll come when it’s warmer weather. 😬🥶 I don’t think it’ll ever not be windy on the bridge, but certainly a bit warmer - maybe in September when there are like 2 weeks of warm weather 😂
I think it’s funny how most ppl who aren’t from here think SF is warm just because it’s in Cali.
And then they come visit in June cause that’s summer everywhere else above the Equator.
NOT 🙅♀️ HERE!
Do yourself a favor - don’t book a trip to NorCal in June if you want warm weather. Wait til early September.
Today's tip on how to make the most out of Music Together at home or out-and-about: own the music! Using your child's name, their favorite foods, etc. in familiar songs can help model musical leadership, which sets an important example for your children to do the same!
We are happy to announce that @cafenoe will serve @poppy_bagels when we open. If you haven’t tried them, they are the best! In the meantime, definitely reach out to @poppy_bagels if you’re interested in placing an order for your business. Thanks Ressa!

Yesterday I shared one of my favorite Christmas houses in San Francisco, and tonight I went to Noe Valley to visit one of my other favorites: The ‘Tom & Jerry’ house on 21st Street. 🎄
Each year the owners go all out for Christmas - often you can find a Santa Claus in front entertaining visitor! 🎅🏻 Lots of families, children, and people just wanting to enjoy the holiday spirit. ☃️
I would definitely recommend checking it - I do it each year and it always puts a smile on my face. 😁

When I look at San Francisco from this angle, it gives me a new appreciation of the terrain, the grid-like design, the sprawl, and the sheer density - with nearly 900,000 people living in a 7x7 city. 🏡🏡🏡
(For perspective, the big green park in the middle of the shot is Dolores Park.)
