Today features Eve in her beloved poopy snugglesack. We also have a stack of bowls by Third. I don’t know what Third was going for with that.. he’d emptied out all the water before putting it on top of what was left of his food.
It’s Friday and that means... 💩 day! Everyone has tested clear! This is the first time all of them haven’t had something lurking in the poo. Some will still need more samples done yet twice a week, others I’ll drop to once a week now unless I see a change in behaviour or weight.
I just need to wash the dishes up and do their laundry then it’s weighing and a few needing medication this evening.
Are you a small business working from home, like me? Do you find it hard to focus on what you should be doing in a working day rather than what needs doing around the home?I know I do.
Have you tried a co-working space? I experienced one this week when I went to meet another Northants business to talk about my website.
Never been to one? Its a work environment that you can be a part of as and when you need it. It’s got more structure than your home office but not in a stuffy, corporate way 😉
Great for meeting with other business owners, to network or just get your head down to get something finished. . @squarefeetco where I went was lovely and quiet, tea on tap and dog friendly!

Curries for Wednesday 22nd January. Fancy any or all of these curries next Wednesday?
Want to join the MH Curry Club?
Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to sign up to our email list.
Alternate Fridays you’ll receive the full menu with details etc
All you have to do is decide what you fancy, email us back and your curries & extra’s are either delivered to you on Wednesday after 4pm or you can collect from us.
This worked really well for us in Sydney and we look forward to building a curry club community here locally. Currently we use takeaway containers, we are on the search for Tiffins. So imagine every other Wednesday a truly delicious homemade takeout to definitely brighten up your hump day.
I used to go into Coleman’s all the time when I was younger, it was one of my favourite shops. It’s full of art supplies, it was also a great place to buy Blu Tac so I could stick all my Gareth Gates posters on my walls (which later turned into Buster and McFly posters). I used to buy ALL my scented gel pens from here, my favourite was the yellow (lemon?) and the pink (strawberry). I once wrote an entire school project in these smelly gel pens, everyone word was in a different colour. It took me ages and remains one of my biggest achievements to date 😂
As I got older my gel pen purchased turned into paintbrush and paint purchases. Then since I left school I have never set foot in this shop again. Adult life takes over and the time to be creative often goes out the window. I’ve often joked that instead of taking photos, I want to start painting. This is because I get annoyed when cars ruin my pictures... if I painted them instead then I could easily remove the car! The problem? It would take me hours and hours AND HOURS to paint each picture so I would post about ten things a year, and that would be quite boring for you all, so I’ll stick to photography for the time being.
Maybe I’ll pop back into Coleman’s, I’m sure there’s a need in my life for staples or sellotape. This one is particularly dashing, the colour red suits this stone ♥️ This store is perfectly placed next to Oundle School which has been around since the 1500s... I like to think the school children keep this shop in business! 🎓
Oundle school is the third largest boarding school in England, the first is Eton. There has been a school on the site since 1485, but the school we know today was originally called Laxton Grammar School and began in 1544. Girls were not accepted until 1990!

WHERE SHOULD I STAY & WHERE TO VISIT WHEN I VISIT THE SOURDOUGH SCHOOL?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Sourdough School is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world in a village called Pitsford. We are a rural location nestled in the beautiful rolling English countryside, just 10 minutes from Princess Diana’s ancestral home; and yet only 15 minutes drive from the town and about 10 minutes from @cotonmanorgarden ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When attending one of our workshops, there are some incredible places you can stay - either within walking distance or a short drive away. We've done the research for you and found the best places you can stay for a wonderful experience of Northamptonshire. From a stunning rural chapel conversion, just a few minutes walk away, to a small independently run hotel in Moulton village 5 minutes drive away.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Your time here at The Sourdough School is so much more than baking bread - it's everything from experiencing rural English countryside to a journey of learning about your own gut health and everything from making beautiful nutritious sourdough through to making life long connections.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Happy new year! I’m looking forward to a bit of normality, less arguing from the kids and attempting to feel less potato-like.
Don’t particularly enjoy the hype of new year, but I love reminiscing and looking back at what’s happened over the years. These 3 were definitely my greatest achievement ❤️
