Early afternoon sun on the wild wind swept dunes looking towards Dunstanburgh Castle in Northumberland. An attempt to capture the motion and mood of the weather. Which image do you prefer, 1 or 2 and why?
Ruth has established herself as a contemporary land and seascape artist. Over the past 5 years she has held regular solo and joint exhibitions in the North East of England. Her paintings are now collected worldwide.
Ruth is lucky to have a base in the picturesque and extremely popular village of Alnmouth, and regularly walks the coastal paths from Druridge Bay up to Holy Island. In 2017 she paid the first of many visits to the Outer Hebrides, where she realised that the colours of the natural landscape appeared again in the colour combinations of the renowned Harris Tweeds.
These 2 are the best pals anyone could have 🐕💕🐕 think they enjoyed their marathon adventure together 💕 thank you @gavgavgavthedog for letting Theo join you on your big race, apologies for all the bumping into you, running diagonally across you, licking your face and sliding into you unintentionally in the boot of the car 🙊🥰🌟
Theo and I just piggy backed onto Maxine and Gav's marathon, they had it planned for months and Theo and I just accidently trained for the marathon with them and thought we'd tag along, signing up a month or so before the race. That didnt really give us enough time for any fund raising but please have a look at @gavgavgavthedog Just Giving page, they're raising money for Leeds Mind and a Collie rescue charity 🐾💕🏅I've seen the hard work they've both put in, any pennies would be amazing 🌟
Whatever lies ahead for you this week, whether you're working hard or on holiday, or if the sun is shining or the weather outside is raging ...we wish you the chance to find time for some stillness and inner peace 🙏
