Much positive seen and experienced.

People are dealing with their own battles and when the playing field is leveled for you to experience the same battle that they are dealing with it creates understanding. In this case the understanding is that the legit Spartans are beast. Racing in the worst conditions was the ultimate test. It was like starting a game on expert difficulty One thing I noticed a lot throughout the whole race was people, correction strangers constantly asking other strangers if they were ok? helping people where they fell short, checking on people to see if they were good. The obstacles were just metaphors for obstacles in life.

@eyesight2012 “y’all circle round tracks, I got mountains at the feet” I get that bar now.
There is no experience quite as frustrating, nor as satisfying, as dealing with a miniature version of yourself on a daily basis. Not always sure which one of us is learning from the other more. #RaisingWarriors#DadLife
2x Trifecta ☑️
Our last #spartanrace of 2019 was a great one! We managed to squeeze in 13 races this year, despite running a business that thrives off of weekend dates and that whole 5 kids thing we’ve got going on too. I’m so thankful we were able to do as many as we were, even if I’ll always wish for more!

This is the #1 Ready-to-Drink product on the market in our industry. You see them at your local gas stations so you may associate them with the "other" energy drinks out there. That is a HUGE mistake because VPX BANG keeps the athlete in mind. Caffeine: 300mg per can

This. 👏🏼Freaking.👏🏼Guy.. today’s name of the game was “you set the pace.” And we took turns whether it be for him on obstacles or me on the run.. a Ninja and a Runner makes a perfect match on a OCR course. I always say that keep people around that push you to be better.. out of your comfort zones. And this one right here makes me do some cray cray shit that I always find fun after we are done. He may be quiet if you meet @foodieninja305 at first glance.. but his quiet but super powerful way he touches his friends lives really is indescribable.. Thank you friend this goal was a year in the making and we did it together. 13.4 miles, 30 plus obstacles.. and a whole lot of pride, sense of accomplishment, and joy from a lot of hard work put in paying off. Now time for us to look at 2020 goals.. we just getting started.💪🏼💪🏼 #nohesitation#spartantrifecta#friends#spartanbeast#grateful#readyforsomefood#andmybed#ocr#aroo#gooddayforagoodday
Last night was not good. I put the wrong number of carbs in the wizard for a blizzard and spent 4 hours at “HIGH” which is greater than 400. I sat up drinking water and waiting. Finally I remembered that eating a few nuts sometimes helps me break my sticky highs. And finally after fours hours it started dipping down. .
I was frustrated. I wanted to blame me for poor management. I wanted to shame myself for poor control. And of course I had to monitor because I was going low as part of the rollercoaster.
Then this morning Clarity spoke into my shame and said I was in range more than 70% of the time yesterday. In fact 5 of 7 days I had been above that measure. .
So why do I move so quickly to self-blame, negative talk and shame? Because I want to be perfect in a world that does not allow for perfection. .
Clarity made me step back and take stock. I have been diabetic over 525,000 hours. I don’t always want to have nights with 4 hours out of range, but it is OK every once in a while. It’s so easy to fret on every moment. But we need to exercise self-grace. We have over a million hours of this lifestyle to live. In an imperfect world we are going to have out of range hours. And we should have grace when we do.
Finished up my 2x trifecta today with the FL Beast 💚 gave it my all today for my first solo beast...made it further on twister than ever before, flew through the carries, nailed my spear, and totally psyched with my finish time of 4:02 (which is an entire hour LESS than last year🎉) Headed back tomorrow for a nice fun Sprint with my mom to close out my 2019 💚 .
Smiling cause it FRIDAY .... and I finally feel like me again! 🤪

Potrzebowałam troszkę odpocząć i sobie wszystko poukładać.
Dawajcie znak w komentarzach! 🙂
And that is a wrap on the 2019 season. Ended with a missed Spear Throw (Went 20 for 20 to start the year, then 2 for 5 to finish. Gross). Time for some Universal Studios fun before heading back to the frozen tundra tomorrow!
