Day 343 Breakfast
I am heading out to attend the @omyogashow , courtesy of my friend @lovelightlifecandles (I actually won a prize in her raffle 🎉). It’s quite a trip, hence I have a protein loaded breakfast of scrambled 🥚 with cottage cheese, goat’s cheese, 🌶🍅parsley and mint, no bread for me.
I know what it feels like to quit on yourself. I know what it feels to have a bad day. I know what it feels like to not want to workout. I’ve been there, sis. ⠀

🏃🏽♀️45 min treadmill walk: played with incline and speed
🕰 I practice intermittent fasting: I eat between 12pm-8pm (MOST days! I love eating breakfast on the weekends with my family and sometimes my kiddos have sports practices that go late and dinner might not be until 9 🤷🏽♀️ it is what it is folks #itsnotthatserious )
☕️ I broke my fast with my daily addiction: @starbucks Venti iced coffee, no classic, sub sugar free vanilla and light heavy cream 🥬 Meal 1 was a scoop of cornbread casserole from my favorite @caldwellcountybbq and a mix of ground beef, ground sausage & sautéed mushrooms, onion, zucchini and spinach... I will most likely repeat for dinner 🤤 and have a mini treat before bed 🍫 @costco brand protein bar in Brownie #balancedbites#bewellmamabear#fortherecord

I LOVE having such an empowered and encouraging community! I am grateful for each and every one of you who “Like or Comment” on the things that I share - (especially in regards to something like weight management, that has broken me for so long) these things stretch me so far beyond my comfort zone! 😝 We are all going through something and I appreciate your love and support 💜
How many of you have made this statement?? “One day I will....” or “One day when...” I know I’m totally guilty of this 🙋🏻♀️ And this can be said about anything in life that you want to start or stop doing.
Guess what! Time is passing regardless of your choices, but the difference is which direction you are headed... I’m here to tell you that there will NEVER be a perfect time! There will always be a reason why now isn’t the time to start making healthier choices even though you say that you want to....
You have to just make the choice that it’s important and DO IT! I’ve had MANY people decide that they are or longer going to make excuses or complain about where they want to be but rather MAKE the necessary choices and JUST DO IT!
And you know what the common thread is...they are all SO HAPPY that they did and are reaping the benefits of feeling good!

I'm not a complainer, I went through some super tough sh%t over the past few years... a divorce, moving to a new city, new job(twice), bankruptcy, literally starting from scratch at 50... something I never thought I would have or/need to do, it wasn't in the "plan".
But what I've found in this 2nd half-century of life is a new happiness, new love, that being a grandma is the best, my kids are thriving, and that "rebuilding" is not a bad thing, it is a neccessary process that shows you just how strong you truly are! 💕💪💕
(Excuse the shameless selfie at the gym, but after not feeling the best for a couple days, I went anyways & gave it my all to sweat it out...so glad I did!)
Outstanding day and night in all classes today...5 classes, everyone worked their ass off. .senior flex and aquafit this morning ...just brilliant wotk by all.
Then bounce blast, @hiitstep and the corexfit to finish....everyone smashed it in all three classes tonight.. .some clients did back to backs and one @carolinecomrie did all 3, total rock star❤❤....lots of you guys did back to backs ....mind blowing energy...well done everyone xxxx

Six years ago today I experienced one of the worst knee injuries you’ll ever see in your life. A lot of people probably wouldn’t be doing anything active at all afterwards. Every year I feel funny on the anniversary of it. Weird thing is, I haven’t accomplished shit yet but I wouldn’t change a goddamn thing. That experience taught me a lot. I’m not who I am or where I am today without it.

I am meeting a good friend for breakfast, so I started my day with a coffee with milk.

🅽🅰🆃🅸🅾🅽🅰🅻 🅱🅾🆂🆂 🅳🅰🆈 // About 3 years ago I said YES to something that I didn’t realize would have a profound impact to my life. At the time, I was busy with twin 3 year olds, working 60+ hrs a week and had 0 interest in doing sales but figured a plan B might be a good idea since I just survived a round of lay-offs. When I heard that the biz/products both came with 60 day guarantee and owning a small business = TAX WRITE-OFF, it was a no-brainer for me. But I did it scared 😳 I was terrified of the thought of sharing on social media and “bugging” my friends 🤣
As I reflect on my journey it’s so surreal what a difference one decision can make! Today is only fitting to share a few wins through my journey 💭 Ⓒⓞⓝⓕⓘⓓⓔⓝⓒⓔ - I feel comfortable in my own skin and didn’t realize how rewarding it is to help friends/family go through the same experience. Ⓒⓞⓜⓜⓤⓝⓘⓣⓨ - stepping out of your comfort zone can be scary!! But wow 😻 the growth + relationships formed = priceless. Empowered Women Empower Women 💯 and this is a core value of mine. Ⓕⓐⓘⓣⓗ 🙏🏼- I’ve experience the biggest growth these last few years and learned it’s ok to be imperfect but I continuously strive to be aligned with God’s purpose in my life, do good + serve others ❤️ Ⓕⓐⓜⓘⓛⓨ 👨👩👦👦- Learning the importance of balance, being present, and working through conflict has strengthened my family and keeps me focused on MY WHY👬
I can go on and on including the personal growth, financial blessings, the 🎁 of being part of an amazing company that goes above and beyond to make you successful, and the tribe of amazing men/women cheering you on to go for more✨
This is just a glimpse as to why I’m so passionate and ❤️ to share 😍 And to keep it real, it’s not always🌹 and you have to do the work 👊and be willing to fail 🤦🏻♀️ A LOT. But I would say YES over and over again because it is THAT GOOD 💃🏻 Lets 💬 if you want to be your own boss 🙌 Cheers to all the boss babes 🥳
There is nothing like a good ‘guilt-inducing’ throw pillow to really make a space feel homey.
Honestly, I love this reminder. This is one of the quotes that was in the back of min mind as we sold everything and bought a school bus. We stopped saying ‘one day’ or ‘some day’ and we started doing things. Now, I have some other areas of my life that need to be addressed and I am hoping this friendly reminder keeps me heading in the direction of ‘day one’ instead of ‘one day’.
Anyone else guilty of making those ‘one day’ and ‘some day’ statements?
Starting small is better than not starting at all. We’re never going to get to where we want to be if we don’t start where we are. Don’t give up on your dreams just because you’re not where you’d like to be along your journey. Keep fighting. Keep showing up every day. This isn’t just about you. There are people out there who are hungry for what you have to share. They need your influence. They need your impact. They need you to press through these fears, insecurities, and struggles. They need you to show up right where you are - today! You’re not too late. Those who start late finish faster than those who never begin!
Motivation is garbage. You’re making a mistake if you think at some point you’ll feel ready to do the things you’ve been thinking about.
What I’ve learned teaching #MindsetReset to more than 200,000 of you around the world is that the problem isn’t a lack of motivation. It’s that you’re stuck in old thinking patterns that keep you trapped in the past— even though you are so motivated to want a different future.
