Jess and Jeff are a couple that make you feel like you’ve known them for years. We had such an incredible time photographing their wedding and were in complete awe of their entire day. We definitely teared up a few times!
Cute little picture of yours truly, captured by my wonderful second shooter Laura! 📸 Probably reviewing some first kiss shots after the ceremony and feeling all the happy vibes! 🌈

I was talking to my amazing friend @lfrae the other night about where I was at with my business as of now. To be honest, I wasn't being the most positive because I'm not exactly where I want to be for 2020. But she brought a different perspective as to where I was last year at this time versus where I am this year at this time and it changed my mindset.
Sometimes it's so easy to get caught up in where you aren't, that you forget to look from a different perspective at how far you've come.
I can't believe it is December already, can you? Do you still need your Christmas pictures taken? °
Don't worry! @honeylensinspiredbyalora is offering last minute Christmas sessions with only the coziest set ups! That's right, there will be not 1 but 3 different sets that will look perfect for cuddling up with your loved ones! •

Oh hey there again! 👋 I'm Chris and I love appreciating autumn leaves. 🍁
I'm currently in a super busy season running this whole photography show, which means less of this and more extra caffeine. ☕️☕️☕️ I'm so grateful for all the work I have, but lately I feel up to my eyeballs in editing! 😣 My eyes don't even know what colours are anymore. 😳
In addition to my own shoots, I'm excited to be assisting with editing santa photos again this year 🎄🎅 and jumping into some studio work for another company! 📸
If you need me I'll be in my editing cave staring at a screen until the year is over. 👀✌️
Not sure if I can still post autumn photos but here's a picture of me in case you forgot what my face looks like! 🥴
I'm Chris, I love colour, and I capture authentic moments of humans with a touch of magic. ✨

So thankful for this hobby, and the extraordinary people and places that make my life as beautiful as it is. 🏚💚 Found this toilet paper roll in the Nazi house with @bennyderby & @almostabandoned_ . •
Oh, I'm just over here laying in some flowers. 🌸 If you also like laying in flowers then let's create some photos together! 🕺 Now booking family and couple sessions, and anything in between, for all humans who love colourful authentic moments! 💛

I’d still consider this one of the coolest hidden gems we’ve found. 💎🏚 I ADORE this master bedroom. 😍 simple but still so elegant. •
I’m sorry I haven’t been active lately. I’ve been processing sad news. I’ll try to post more this week for you guys 💚 for now I hope you enjoy this bottle of ointment I found in a washroom when on an urbex adventure with my favourites @almostabandoned_ & @bennyderby 🏚 •
So happy with the latest photo shoot 😍 + this was our first family photoshoot with a baby and after practicing some peek a boo, we managed to get some smiles from the cutest baby ever! +
Thankfully we got these fall photos in before the snow hit, but now who else is ready for holiday season to begin? December 1st I plan to go full tilt on the Christmas decorations because it’ll be our first Christmas in our new apartment. 😊🎅

“From the first moment we touched, your arms felt like home”
Running your own business can be tricky. 🤔 Things don't always go according to plan, and I'm learning that lesson hard right now! There are times when you have nothing to do, and times when you can't possibly get everything done in time. 😣 You have to learn to adapt quickly to changes and keep things looking professional even though you feel like a total amateur. 🤦♀️ That's real talk. ☕️ We're all just out here trying out best, and I'm so grateful to all of you for coming along on this crazy ride with me! 💛
New gallery from this couple shoot! Link in bio! ✨ It's always risky connecting with strangers over the internet but man i got lucky with these two! 😍 They were so lovely and absolute naturals in front of the camera. I can't get enough of how in love they are! 😭

Sometimes we have to take a step back, spend some time to be grateful for everything that we have around us.🙏 _
This picture I took last night, out of the back yard. Swinging the drone up, taking multiple exposures and combined them together. I look at the result And I think; what am I doing? Why don't I take more time to do this?🤔 _
For myself, I often get caught up in work. Running a business requires an unbelievable amount of time and effort, so much that it is often easy to not spend time for yourself.
I used to go out at least once every 2 weeks to take pictures, and now it's hard to even remember the last time I did.
I'm not complaining, I absolutely love what I do. And couldn't imagine what life would be if I didn't work at least 14 hours a day.
People tell me to slow down, but no. I know where I'm going, I know that for the next 5 years I'll be playing in the dirt. My career goals are strange, vertspecific to myself, and longterm. Goals require sacrifices, but this shouldn't mean to give up on everything else.
After I combined the different exposures in this image and finished the editing I looked at it for 5 minutes straight and decided to make time, at least once every 2 weeks to go out with my camera. 1 location at a time.
Multiple people asked me why I gave up being a full time photographer. And it was for 1 reason only. I felt that I couldn't learn much more, and had to expand. A choice that I've not regretted for a single moment.
I'm back, not as a fulltime photographer, but as a part-part-part-part time one. Capturing the beauty of this amazing country that I can call home.
I'd love your help. What pictures would you like to see? What location should I go to?
