This beacon symbolises home ... the place where I grew up, where most of my friends and family are and where some of my happiest memories are. Whenever I’m returning from an adventure as soon as I see this sat high at the top of the Wrekin I know I’m home 🥰 .
Sometimes our passion for creating art out of light makes it easy to forget we are not standing inside a motionless painting. During this visit to Nash Point, I was intrigued by curtains of grey suspended over a slither of teasing warmth on the horizon, just barely peeking through. Until of course, It dawned on me this was a travelling wall of relentless hail that was to hit the coast (and myself) without mercy. This shot, was the aftermath it left behind. #photography #riccardobeghini #wales #ordnancesurvey #valeofglamorgan #naturephotography #getoutdoors
Thank you for all the positive feedback on my video stories today! I’ve been meaning to show my face for a fair while now, but as you know I much prefer to be behind the camera! Apologies for not warning you I was going to show my face beforehand!! 🤔😂 Anyway, I’m going to try and do it more often and make my feed more interactive!
Engagement has been down this year and after doing some research it’s possibly due to the new algorithms?! So I’ve decided it’s time to change things up a little. I’ve got some exciting news to share with you all later next month and today is this first step towards that! Here’s #durgan just before lunch earlier. #cornwall

Come on weather calm down...... looking forward to sunny evenings spent at crags climbing with my lovely little climbing crew...... 🙏🏻 Yorkshire is pretty magical......
Doesn’t matter how many wheels you have when the fire has gone out. Broke down this morning on the way to site. Managed to get it back on the trailer, a quick trip to Carlisle and back this afternoon to get it fixed ASAP. Back to the daily grind tomorrow.
Langford Lakes, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Reserve.
Parking is free for those visiting the reserve. Search postcode SP3 4PA
The reserve is well maintained by the Wiltshire branch of the Wildlife Trust and there are interactive activities to get kids hands on with nature. Getting kids excited about natural is a valuable thing. There are pushchair and wheelchair accessible paths throughout.
I read that dogs are not allowed and I believe this is to protect the wildlife within the reserve. However if your dog is well trained and kept on a lead at all times they may be a bit lenient, I cannot guarantee that though.
Bird watching hides with views over the lake.

That bit under water is the “path”. It was like that for most of the 10 miles home. I stacked it a few times and my glutes are on 🔥. But that’s what you risk trying a new route! .
I enrolled my 5 year old at forest school for 3 days this half term so decided to leave the car there and run home then back to pick up. With the help of my beloved @ordnancesurvey app I saw I could get back using the Fox Way long distance path which crossed my usual North Downs route. I just forgot that farmers fields after flooding would be knee deep in mud for miles 😭😭😭
But it was an adventure, seeing new trails and a full body workout crawling under and over barbed wire to escape a fallen tree blocking the path. I really love finding new trails and getting to know areas better. What’s your favourite new trail?
(Disclaimer for those who follow my #strava - for the rest of the week I’m probably going to wimp out and take the less scenic 4.5 mile tarmac route) 😳
