We found the Alps in Ireland! Glenariff Forest Park is know as the Queen of the Glens, the most beautiful glen in Northern Ireland, but is also known as Switzerland in miniature. ⠀
Walking into the forest, breathing in its perfumes and discovering its hidden spots is priceless! 🌲⠀ ⠀
One of the most beautiful walks in there is the Waterfall Walk, check the link in bio for more info about it. ☑
This trip I really challenged myself to shoot less, to soak up more moments and just exist the the pure splendor of the wild earth around us.
Most of my trips out here have been work trips, but since this one was a bit different, I was able to fully realize the true beauty instead of just imagining the next photo setup. Sometimes that just leads to a severe case of burnout, which is exactly where I’ve been.
I fear at times I’ve robbed myself of seeing this land at its very core. It cannot be reduced down to something as simple as “content”, it has no understanding of sponsorships and it sure as heck doesn’t care about follows or likes.
I truly don’t resent the work, I’m so thankful for the brands and clients who believe in me, but it’s so important to make work purely for yourself from time to time. Work that serves no purpose beyond bringing joy to your soul. I think that’s where we find what sparked our passion all along.
It’s another one from my latest trip. There might be a good chance you will see a lot more from Switzerland on here soon. However, I heard so much about the divine sunrises you could witness in the Alpstein area. It wouldn’t disappoint. We spent a short and cold night high up at the Saxer Lücke where we met @bettina___h and @manueldietrichphotography. It’s been a pleasure. Cheers!
“Only if we manage to see the universe as a single entity, in which every part reflects the whole and whose great beauty lies precisely in its variety, will we be able to understand exactly who and where we are.” - Tiziano Terzani
I brought a handful of lenses with me but only used the 200-600 for about 90% of the time. Picture creds for the last one goes to @jordynbailey_

I must admit I was really frightened when I crossed this bridge but, looking back to it, it was an amazing experience 😱🤗
↟ How's your "best day of the week" aka. Friday? In case you haven't yet, take this train right into weekend!
