With the growing popularity and availability of sustainable packaging - McDonald’s has officially tested going plastic-free! The trial ran for 10 days in Berlin, introducing edible waffle cups for condiments, paper packaging, and a reusable cup program. This was in preparation for the anticipated single-use plastic ban by the EU in 2021. Among 47 million people eat McDonald’s daily, this would be a huge step in the right direction to eliminate plastic waste. ****note we still encourage you to refrain from fast food when possible****

3 Sisters a popular beverage brand that sells non alcoholic beer, approached us for their branding and packaging requirements, The name 3 sisters is derived through a personal story of the client who wanted to dedicate this drink to the 3 strong women in his life (His Sisters). Since the brand is young and vibrant we approached the late design with a similar route, working with patters and illustrations that depict the variety of ingredients and flavors, adding a lot of fun and quirk to the brand. The colors for the these labels are appropriately chosen to resonate with the drinks flavor

The packaging structure is a replica of an artist’s drawing palette with small jam jars instead of paints. This packaging will make the routine process of having breakfast more exciting and interactive for kids. The toast will be a canvas where a child or parent can freely draw on, while the spoon will become a brush in the hands of young artists.
The size of a jar is a daily recommended portion of jam for a child, which will keep the sugar consumption level balanced. The naming and the logo are self-explanatory and present the idea behind the packaging concept.
