In the midst of chaos or troubles (circumstantially or self inflicted), we can choose to find & live in HARMONY (inwardly & outwardly) with Divine eternal self evident PRINCIPLES & allow them to ultimately lift us (internally) above to BEcome (outwardly) victorious while retaining our integrity/honor/influence.⠀
....or we can choose to obey FEELINGS & allow them to pull us internally into darkness & BEcome a mental victim or a behavioral wrecking ball (to our own lives or to others').⠀
👣We have all heard at some point how painful gout is. .
👣So what is going on? Why is it so painful? What is a Gout attack? Who is attacking who? 🤷🏻♂️
👣Well, an elevated serum (blood) urate level, together with local factors, results in the deposition of uric acid crystals into the joints.
👣The funny thing is these crystals are completely inert and don’t do any harm. So what is going on? 🤷🏻♂️
👣The body has an immune system which is designed to fight bacteria and viruses. You can think of it as the bodies Army defending against invading infection. Unfortunately for us, the uric acid crystals are the same shape and size as bacteria. So our Bodies “army” starts attacking the crystals. The inflammatory response results in heat, increased blood flow to the area, swelling of the tissues and of course pain!!!
👣This is why Gout hurts. The treatment in the short term is to take anti-inflammatories to stop the bodies inflammatory response. .
👣For long term control of gout the formation of uric acid may be reduced with the xanthine-oxidase inhibitors allopurinol or febuxostat.
I have talked to so many people with migraines, who just can’t give up their chocolate and wine. They want to be free from migraine pain, but whenever they try to deprive themselves of the things they love, they can't.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is really hard to give up foods or drinks you love and enjoy. It’s bad enough having migraines, now you have to be more unhappy and pass on that glass of wine with friends. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remember going through months of deprivation followed by months of indulging. I wasn’t happy either time. When I was eating the chocolate and drinking the wine, at the moment I was happy, but later I would be so afraid I’d get a migraine and I usually got one.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then when I wasn't eating the chocolate and drinking the wine, I was mad I couldn’t have them. I felt cheated. If I had to have migraines, I should be able to treat myself and do what I wanted when I felt ok.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It took a long time for me to realize my victim mentality was what was holding me back. Yes, I did need to cut chocolate and wine out of my food plan for a while, but I needed to do it when I was ready to work on the rest of my migraine challenges, not just one little part of a whole big picture. The starting and stopping of two items wasn’t going to solve my migraine symptoms.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I needed to shift from feeling like I had no control over my headaches, to the realization that I actually had all of the control. Once that sunk in and I started doing the work necessary to make real change, I began to see a drastic reduction in the quantity and severity of migraines.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am happy to say I can now enjoy chocolate and wine and do so when I know it’s a smart idea for me. On days I know it may be one too many triggers for my head to handle, I pass and I’m okay with that. No longer a victim, I am happily in control of my health and my “treats”.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The most detrimental thing we can do for our health is to dismiss own pain. To repeatedly prioritize the comfort of others over ourselves. To withhold our tears and cries, our inquiries for help and understanding. Accepting our pain means creating a safe space that allows you to come back into your body - and this means ACKNOWLEDING YOUR PAIN.
When we let ourselves outwardly embody what we’re feeling internally, our homeostasis is often thrown out of whack and chaos ensues. We can often go from 0-100, from dissociation to hyper-awareness of our discomfort. This wasn’t a choice we made for ourselves consciously; this was a defense mechanism our bodies and brains crafted to protect us from insufferable, constant agony.
The key to receiving the help and support we need is to express our pain smart, not hard.
Most people have no idea how to help us off the bat, and seeing us suffering often revs up defense mechanisms in their brains too. In medical emergencies, we often operate from a fight, flight, or freeze-based response. We tend to usually freeze as a form of dissociation; others may fight or flight as a means to escape the situation. This isn’t personal, despite how emotionally triggering it feels. Sickness and pain inherently scare humans because naturally, we want to avoid these things.
How people treat you in regards to your pain isn’t about you. It isn’t a reflection of how they feel about us, even though our minds assume it is. People treat you, in regards to your suffering, the same way they deal with their own internal pain.
Chances are, the people that neglect and dismiss you neglect and dismiss themselves.
Building receptivity with others requires us to step back and consider how our messages are being received. Are we communicating effectively, or are we scattered yet vacant in how we express ourselves? Are we operating from a place of love or a place of fear? With every decision we make in life, we must choose one of those two pillars to embody. Contrary to popular opinion, fear and love can co-exist together. But one always overpowers they other. So continually choose love, and do it for you.

THIS my friends is the power of natural remedies. Every day we have comments like this in my members group or my inbox.
Have you tried copaiba yet?
At a talk this month by Dr Hill, we learnt about how copaiba works DIRECTLY on the endocannaboid receptors instead of indirectly the way that CBD oil does.
It’s the one oil we should be using each and every day according to Dr Hill.
A super special offer is on for this bottle of magic which ends tommorow.
Let me know if you’d like to know more x
“How could I have been so slow? What I’ve always thought set me apart binds me to others.” -Mark Nepo⠀
You see that face right there?☝🏼It’s made people uncomfortable, intimidated, and caused them to pass judgement. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve heard “I thought you were a bitch when I first met you.” For years I thought something was wrong with me. I forced a smile to make people in the work place feel more comfortable 😬 Or a cute grin to let dudes know it’s safe to approach 🤓⠀
My endometriosis diagnosis has been and continues to be a challenging journey. But one thing I have gained is clarity🧐When it came to my “resting betch face” I realized that it was my pain. My face looks like this because as much as I try to mask it, the pain is always there seeping through. It’s exhausting to pretend to be okay for other people. I still struggle with being transparent about this disease because I fear others will think I’m not capable. That’s why I want to shed light on the inner dialogue that runs through the minds of women dealing with this disease everyday. Let’s cry, laugh, share, learn, and BETCH!⠀

😊😚 #naansfromage#recette#easyrecipe#foodblog#foodblogger#cuisinedumonde#evasion#indianfood#foodie#yummy#fromage#pain#photooftheday#picoftheday#photofood#foodporn
