📌The Hall of the Mirrors in Aranjuez Palace.
Being the chamber of Charles II, it was completely redecorated at the time of Charles IV, between 1791-95. Designed as a cabinet for Queen Maria Luisa of Parma, it was used then as the King’s dressing room. The richness of its walls was sculpted by Tomas de Castro and the paitnings of doors and moldings by Manuel Pérez and Andres del Peral. The chairs and consoles, unique in their decoration, are attributed to José López. @realessitios
