Don’t worry, I wore earplugs 🙃
Thanks @eastonparkatx@jstandardevents for having me out last evening to celebrate your 4th annual #Parkapalooza with y’all (+ putting me in front of the coolest backdrop) 📻
Come on out tonight to catch me spinning 6-8p for a 11-year celebration of the work/life/ balance + center @somavida 💫
I’ll be teaching sharpening and spoon carving workshops this weekend in Montpelier’s Hubbard Park. Join me to learn sharpening techniques for hatchets, knives, and hooked knives and the spoon carving process from log to spoon. I encourage you to bring your own tools if you have them—you can get them nice and sharp so you can go out on your own and make something beautiful. #vermont#hubbardpark#parkapalooza#spooncarving#sharpening#woodwork#woodcarving
We hit up the Heritage Carousel real quick tonight before we headed to our churches #parkapalooza at Union Park (across the street). This season of life is so weird. I have a baby on a hip and teeny bopper walking around with friends 🤔 Also, side note, 9/10 it’s just easier to stay home these days. So. Much. Work. to go anywhere. Sorry.. this post is so random & pointless and I realize that 😂 I’m more or less just wanting to document the busy exhausting weird season of my life. 🎠
~The Wedding Singers~
I am so proud of everything I’ve done this year but being a part of our band The Wedding Singers with my sister Cora and some other kids her age is definitely one of the top. I’ve had to push myself with my musical abilities and it’s been 100% worth it. Patkapalooza was so much fun and a great place to play at with such an amazing staff and audience. Thank you💚
Also I hope y’all are ready for a lot of posting because I haven’t posted in SO long I have a lot of pictures to share😭 #parkapalooza#music#band
So a tradition of ours during the summer is to spend a day park hopping. We have coined the day "Parkapalooza". We pick a park to start at and after a little while, hop in the car and go to the next one. We don't have a plan of which parks, we pick a direction and find the next one. Today was our day. We visited 4 parks in 3 towns. I know it's silly, but the excitement they get is totally worth it. Best of all, it's a totally free way to spend a summer afternoon. We packed a lunch, water bottles and just enjoy. What are summer traditions you share with your family?
A rare gig in the ol’ stomping grounds comin’ atcha on Sunday, June 3rd. #parkapalooza •
Bring a lawn chair, find some shade and enjoy a beautiful day at Tittabawassee Twsp. Park. Lots of other great bands playing too, including our friends @marsupialcreampie!
