Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky. - Rabindranath Tagore
I’m getting “a pterodactyl is coming for us” vibes from this shot... but maybe I’ve seen Jurassic Park lll too many times

The last few weeks I didn’t really feel like posting anything. I still don’t feel like it tbh. Not being on Instagram all the time gave me a lot of time to think and relax. I realized that a phone/screen detox from time to time can be good for the mind. My focus is on taking in every moment of this beautiful journey. I don’t feel the need anymore to post a lot of stuff on here.
I also didn’t make a lot of pictures because my camera fell into the water. (Good news: my travel insurance took care of it and gave me the worth of the camera back. My friend will bring me a new camera in a couple of days)!!

Yesterday I had a great time at @zomalandin . Lots of fun, food, masti, brilliant performances by the artists, goood management and for sure a great Carnival.
I tried food from @enokidelivery and @lapinozpizzanoida .
Due to a winter ❄️ storm, we cancelled Yosemite and was invited to spend the day with the Sherman’s Fam. It was one of the highlights of our trip. @aprilsherman_sgx and I been friends since @spartankidsrace World Championships last year. Our girls @spartandrews & @rebel_shaker_ocr are best buds ever since 2018.
It’s amazing how @spartanrace connects people from all walks of lives no matter where you’re from, You will definitely feel that spartan community spirit ❤️
The Sherman’s are truly an incredible family. We shared similar values, passionate about OCR and many other things. We felt so much love the moment we stepped into their home in Tehachapi. I hope one day, they’d come and visit us in Singapore.
Thank you @aprilsherman_sgx for the warmth hospitality ❤️💙💚💜💛

Heres an interesting fact!🤔
Odissi is one of the pre-eminent classical dance forms of India which originated in the Hindu temples of the eastern coastal state of Odisha in India. It traces back to ‘Natya Shastra’, the ancient Sanskrit Hindu text on the performing arts. Age-old tradition of Odissi is manifested from Odisha Hindu temples and various sites of archaeological significance😁
Soumee De is an Odissi dancer and co founder of ETHOS: exploring an Odissi Spirit, a community of Indian Classical dancers that aim to inspire, propagate, develop and influence the spread of Odissi form and related arts & music disciplines across geographies, cultures and generations😮
Soumee has more than 30 years of classical dance experiences (in Kathak and Odissi) and currently teaches at Shantha Ratii SRI Academy and Temple of Fine Arts, Singapore. She trains in Odissi under Guru Ratikant Mohapatra from Srjan,Bhubaneswar, India. Soumee and her students have performed at ARTWALK Little India festival in 2019🤗
In Soumee's performance, she will be narrating the passage of time to the four Indian seasons introduced by Rabindranath Tagore, Jayadeva, Kalidasa and Subramanya Bharathi (in 3 languages)!
Using songs and dance to depict these seasons and their impact on the human mind, she will expose participants to Odissi, highlighting on its gestures that represent a myriad of meanings through an enriching workshop!
Happening at the newly opened Tekka Place Rooftop Pavilion🤩🤩 Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to learn Odissi with Soumee this January @ ARTWALK Little India!🤗

One week before Christmas. One night only. The Four Horsemen (formerly of @smokeandmirrorsbarsg) will be with us for an epic guest shift, mixing their own Indian-inspired cocktails. Alongside our expanded food menu too. See you on Wednesday the 18th!
When in Singapore, do as the Singaporeans do - EAT GOOD FOOD! Suprisingly, the food scene here is so vibrant compared to what most people say like, “SG is so small; There’s not much to do/eat there.” etc.. It’s my 5th day here and the diversity of what they have to offer when it comes to restaurants is just electric and unique so if you need any tips, just let me know and I’d be glad to give out some recommendations 🤗 @visit_singapore#PassionMadePossible

Dreaming of warmer days ☀️. The increased rainfall in December and January is a nice respite from the heat, but warm weather also brings gorgeous blooms through the rest of the year, especially during warmer months like April ~ May 🌸! Photo by @life_in_tokyo. #VisitSingapore#PassionMadePossible

“Smell as good as you look!” LOL. I made my own perfume guys! We visited a traditional shop and had a unique perfume workshop experience 🥰
This area is actually called Kampong Glam, it’s so interesting because there’s so much history and culture in the place. Lots of beautiful old buildings and quirky souvenir shops. It’s also where you can find the famous Haji Lane street!
BTW behind me is a major landmark - if anyone can guess what it is, lemme know in the comment section 😛 @visit_singapore#PassionMadePossible
Hearing the sound of waves makes you space out and heals your mind and soul. ✨
