Everybody is always trying to squash their own faults and pretend they were never there, that they never happened. This doesn't work. This only makes you more insecure and more desperate around others. ⠀
The secret sauce of being a happy, confident, not-totally-fucked-up person is the opposite: learning to appreciate your flaws. Treating your flaws like a three-legged dog that hangs around your house. You feed it and pet it and take care of it. And even when it bites you sometimes, you understand that this is the only option you've got: to love it. Because everything else will only hurt more @markmanson.
What's a flaw you guys have had to learn to love about yourself?

this photo is from the first engagement session I’ve ever done in 2018. Since then I’ve only done 5 more which is pretty mind blowing, but it’s so beautiful to see how my work and vision is changing as I continue to grow. ✨
If you’re getting married this year, I’m currently booking weddings for 2020 and would love to hear from you! I now have three different wedding packages available and each package comes with a complementary engagement session! 🙌🏽

Hi friends! It’s a new year, so I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself for those who are new! For those who have been here for a while, thanks for stickin’ around!
I'm from Lisbon, and I've been a photographer for 8 years, shooting portrait (individual, couples, maternity, family), lookbooks for small brands, designers and fashion bloggers. In 2019 I started to also shoot weddings (although I had previously second shot weddings for a fellow photographer). I can't wait to update my portfolio and share those works with you!)
My style is bright and airy and I tend to use natural light only. Only in events I'll use flash whenever necessary.
In the past I did a lot of studio photography, especially test shoots for agencies, but eventually I fell in love with shooting on location using only natural light. Even if you book a family session in your home, I'll avoid artificial light as much as possible, depending on how bright the area is.
I like to make my clients feel comfortable from the first minute we meet and my approach is very relaxed. I avoid awkward posing and prefer capturing interaction and natural movement.
I love surrounding myself with people who are relaxed, kind, warm, creative, who love a good laugh and value experiences over things!
The Lord has been good to me in many ways... Although it can be distracting, I love having a place where my boys can come in and play while I work. Where they can set up their “pinos” and sing, or give me stickers, or even have their own kit in the corner (last pic). Sometimes it isn’t ideal.. but honestly it has been a beam of grace.
Tem algum lugar da sua cidade que tu goste muito de ir passear? Eu gosto muito de ir na Paulista, nem que seja só pra andar, tirar umas fotas e tomar um sorvete (geralmente na @donanuvemoficial, inclusive recomendo). ✨🌁

Can’t wait to see these guys painted up for preschool songs and stories! Does anyone know “little mouse, are you in the blue house?” game? Gotta be a fav at group time!
