Le mot croyance désigne l’action, le fait de croire une chose vraie, vraisemblable ou possible. Il désigne aussi ce en quoi nous croyons, une opinion professée en matière religieuse, philosophique, politique! .
C’est aussi une idée que nous avons généralisée et qui est devenue pour nous une conviction profonde. .
C’est une bonne chose d’avoir des croyances mais lorsque ces derniers inhibent notre volonté, freinent notre motivation, nous empêchent d’être optimiste, alors il faut travailler sur soi pour les éliminer de notre mindset. On parle alors de croyances limitantes.
« Je ne suis pas douée », « je ne vaux rien », « je n’ai pas de chance », « personne ne m’aime », etc...

Do you have stories that you live by? Thoughts that swim repetitively from week to week and month to month, playing scenarios in your head – some have happened, some will never happen and we listen to the stories over and over again. These stories aren’t bad as there are no right or wrong answers in coaching, and they ARE influential. The more we listen and give attention to the self-limiting often emotional stories we make up, 1) The less present we are in the actual moment we’re in and 2) the more emotionally reactive we are setting ourselves up to be. Don’t try to put down the imaginary pen yet and “stop” your brand of storytelling cold turkey. You may need some of your stories right now. Making distinctions is the first step.
Today – notice the stories in your head – then reflect on how you feel both physically and emotionally while listening to them. You can even go so far as naming/making a list of the most common stories and the emotion bring up. This is the first step of deciding what to keep and what to let go of.
While stepping away from our self-limiting stories is a process and takes consistent effort. Whether you are looking to lose weight, gain muscle or size or simply just looking to stay healthy. I think it should be the backbone of your physical activity. •
Now what this is, isn’t going into the gym to body build like Arnold. That is not the same thing. •
What we are talking about is getting in 2-4 solid strength training sessions in a week, focusing on fundamental movement patterns.•
You don’t have to stop your other activities! Absolutely continue them!!
Strength training will serve your accessory activities well, supplement them and improve your performance in them and it will help you age better. •
If you see someone in the later stages of their life struggling to get up stairs or even to walk upright, and you think “I don’t want to end up like that” then you should start strength training. •

I really didn’t feel like training today but I showed up anyway. Sometimes we need to rest and have a day off but sometimes we just don’t FEEL like training. On these days I show up and do it anyway and I always feel better for it. It’s an early win for the day and no matter what else happens I’ve completed the workout and done something great for ME before the work day starts.
Sometimes the odds are stacked against us and it takes a huge effort to stick to our healthy lifestyle. So, like now, when I don’t have a regular gym, equipment, environment or routine I keep it simple. 20-40 minutes of bodyweight strength and conditioning and/or HIIT is an incredible way to keep active. There’s no excuses!
What’s your go-to workout when you’re traveling or tight on time?
Because I get asked by Filmies 🎬 : My Intimacy Coordinating/Directing, or Set Wellness Coordinating (MH) comes on the same budget line of health & safety/risk aversion alongside Set Nurse and Safety Officer. In fact to integrate with and up-skill the knowledge of Mental Health for the SO and Nurse I believe is now a must in this changing climate. Also, for those unsure of what ‘intimacy’ directing is I personally coach the actors with the director’s vision and help them achieve what they want in the frame for any physical and intimate scenes that need overseeing eg sexual to aggressive and everything in between.

Spend more time listening to others, or to the sound of 'nothing'.
You'll earn more respect, and you'll learn something in the process.
As a Coach I’m often asked about achieving goals or hitting certain mile markers that folks have set in life. We are conditioned to focus on the WHATS in life. What we want to become, what lifestyle we want to have, what we want to give to our children... Having the opportunity to speak with the youth of Romania 🇷🇴 this has been placed on my heart to really lean in to and stress.
WHO you become is far more important then WHAT you become. Yes, society may judge positively and negatively the what’s in your life... but what you seek is found in the WHO. WHAT can lead to emptiness, loneliness and desperation. Ever wonder why so many have WHATS are still depressed... They aren’t happy with the WHO in their life.
So as you think about how you end up in 2019 and the goals you have for 2020, take time to really think about the WHO you’ve become this year. Has it been intentional? Is it who you want to be? Then as you write out your goals for next year, be intentional to add a WHO goal... Trust me, you will thank me at the end of 2020 for the satisfaction of the impacts it will have! Far more then just adding stuff!
Foot Fact Friday #87 - Akutmedizin vs. Regenerationsmedizin Teil 2: Mechanisch von außen vs. Organisch von innen
Heute folgt Teil 2 der dreiteiligen Reihe mit dem Thema Akutmedizin vs. Regenerationsmedizin. In Teil 1 habe ich die Unterschiede der Akutmedizin, die repariert und der Regenerationsmedizin, die regeneriert gegenübergestellt. Im heutigen Teil möchte ich die Thematik noch einmal von einem anderen Blickwinkel aus betrachten.
Akutmedizin ist mechanisch, d.h. sie behandelt eine bestimmte Symptomatik, meist von außen, mit bestimmten Tools. Herzstillstand -> Wiederbelebung, Knochenbruch -> Gips, Schnittwunde -> Verband um nur ein paar Beispiele zu nennen. In diesen Fällen wird die Verantwortung für die Problemlösung sinnvollerweise an eine andere Person oder ein externes Hilfsmittel abgegeben.
Das Problem beginnt, wenn diese Mechanik auch (und das wird sie sogar oft ausschließlich) in Bereichen angewendet wird, wo Regeneration gefragt ist. Und zwar organisch wachsend, von innen heraus und an verschiedenen Punkten ansetzend! Viele Krankheiten, Entzündungen, orthopädische Beschwerden müssen und können nicht von außen bzw. von jemandem anderen durch ein bestimmtes Tool „geheilt“ werden. Sie sind oft Folge des Lebensstils (schlechter Schlaf, zu wenig echtes Essen, zu viel Kunstlicht etc.) oder bisher Erlebtem (Unfälle, Traumata, Glaubenssätze). In diesen Fällen liegt die Verantwortung für die Problemlösung beim „Betroffenen“ selbst. Zwar kann er sich extern Begleitung oder Hilfestellungen holen („a good coach or therapist will only shine the light on a dark area, which you have to explore“), langfristig wirksame Erfolge kann er aber nur selbst erzielen. Welches Heilungsumfeld kreiierst du für dich? Du selbst entscheidest, welche Ressourcen dir zur Verfügung stehen, um best- und schnellstmöglich zu regenerieren!!!

Agility is the ability to move quick and easily and in sports there are 2 factors to increasing agility... physical and mental
On the physical side it’s about...
- Good technique (Developed by practicing sport)
- Good Absorption/production of force (Developed in Training)
- Good Balance via trunk and structural integrity of joints (Developed in training)
Mental side it’s about..
- Reaction or response time visually and auditorily (Developed by practice and training)
- Anticipation (Developed by studying film)
- Awareness or Game Intelligence (Developed by experience and studying sport)
These are the factors that determines ones level of agility in their sport
Identify your weakness. Focus on that weakness diligently with intent and repetition. Get better at your sport.
