I’m so excited to be introducing our Costume Line to the Nursery. Coming this summer to the Qualicum Beach Uptown Street Market you can dress up like your favourite magical creature and have your photo taken with your cell phone right at our tent.
These are the stickers that I designed for the Costume bags indicating sizes and prices matching the company business cards perfectly. In line with the other colour scheme of the business and to go with the rest of the stand up banners, this banner introduces and welcomes all to come and dress-up as their favourite magical creature. The backdrop is done on the same purple with pink rose vines, there is green artificial grass flooring with stone carpet cutouts inviting those to walk on and enter our ‘Enchanted Pathways Faerie Nursery’. So you ask, what magical creatures are available? Well, you could be a: 🧚🏻🧜🏻♀️ 🦄🐉🛡 A Faerie with wings, wand, tutu and headband.
A Mermaid with a dress, headband and jewelry.
A Unicorn with a tutu, headband, glow-stick and jewelry.
A Dragon with either a jacket or dress, mask and noise maker.
A Dragon Slayer with a full set of armour including helmet, breastplate, sword and shield.
Welcome to our Faerie Nursery. @qualicumbeachuptownstreetmarket
Well that was fuuuuun! 🤩 Milk & Honey ended at 7, but now it’s 2am, and I am definitely still awake. 😳🤪 Once the event was over, it was time to pack up 3 booths, drive an hour home, unpack, get Chipotle, watch John Oliver, look through all of the amazing photos from the day, post said photos, put away some laundry, assemble a dresser from Ikea with Steven, and then stare at this amazing balloon installation for the rest of the night. 😍😂 These balloons were epic. And they made for a perfect selfie booth backdrop. 👏🏻 •
And in case you’re wondering, the Ikea dresser did not go well. 🤣 For the first time in my life, they included the wrong piece in the box! •
Anyway. I’m obsessed with today’s photos, so you’ll be seeing more soon! Check out our stories for behind the scenes! •

It was August 1, 2019, and we were officially off to our vacation in London. London was our first stop and we had a 24 hour layover. We checked into the Shangri-la Hotel at the Shard. It was my first time in London and I had no idea how bougie this hotel really was until we got there and my jaw dropped (but I still had no idea). The concierge desk is on the 52nd floor, that outlooks a beautiful view of London. We checked in and decided to go out for dinner to make the most out of our time there. He picked out a long maxi dress (out of the many outfits I had packed for Instagram photos) for me to wear to dinner. He told me we were going to a fancy restaurant and without questioning him any further, I said “okay” and got ready.
At 7:30 pm, we went to the main floor to call an Uber to take us to dinner. When we reached the main doors we were greeted by a lady that introduced herself and told us to follow her. We followed her into the elevator and back up to the 52nd floor. This was when I got suspicious so I asked him where we were headed and he told me that the restaurant was upstairs. I thought maybe he made reservations for a restaurant at the Shard as there are various restaurants located in the building. So we followed this lady to a door at the end of the hallway, until she turned around and said “we are here. After you” waving her hand to the door. Holding my boyfriend’s hand I followed him in as he opened the door and THAT was when I saw it. He opened the door to a spectacular view of London. The room with floor-to-ceiling windows was covered in white rose pedals and with white balloons covering the ceiling.
