One of my favorite things to do in the winter is to sit down and start planning for the upcoming growing season.
Since being diagnosed with #hashimotos and #gravesdisease and adopting an #aiplifestyle our #grocerybill has gone up more than we had anticipated. Lots and lots and lots of fresh #fruitsandveggies with every meal, and mostly organic when able. And I’m the only one eating the #aipdiet
This year I’m really looking forward to expanding our #garden and growing some of the foods I love to eat with this #lifestyle My favorite #groceryhaul is when it comes straight from our garden.
I preordered this book by @melissaknorris and finally sat down to really dig into it. I’ve thumbed through it several times. It’s a beautifully done book from cover to cover.

Engagement is key.🔑
If you’re not engaging, you are going unnoticed.👻
It might seem like a chore, or that you “don’t have enough time”, or it’s unimportant...but you will not get the results you’re wanting if you show up on Instagram or Facebook with a post and then vanish.
People might have questions, comments or compliments!
Schedule a few mins into your day during a break (or around the time you post). Take some time to engage, go through hashtags that are relevant to your target audience, and give meaningful comments or answer questions. It can be hard to break the habit of silently lurking on posts, just liking and scrolling away - but if you make the time for it, you’ll do it.👍 Engaging on your platform of choice is how you make connections. That’s what social media is for, isn’t it? It’s not about the likes or follows, but who begins to know, like and trust you based on your content, your responses and the connection formed.👫
How often do you engage on social media a day? Or are you a silent lurker?

Faithful, not frantic. That's my goal.
When my kids are all living out on their own and they think back to life in my house, I don't want them remembering a mama who was constantly working.
When they describe their childhood, I don't want "busy" to be a word they choose.
And yet, there are so many things I want to do. So many good things to teach and model. So many tasks to perform. They all seem important.
It can't be just me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this way.
But how do we manage it all? How do we prioritize our time and resources in ways that have the greatest impact for God's kingdom? What matters most in the real world?
I'm talking about this on the blog this week. (Link in profile)
10,000. ✨ I honestly never thought this would happen. I remember the day I started this account, 2 years ago this week. I had begun an intense healing journey 6 months prior, after God had saved me from myself and set me free from a very toxic individual. I started planning because I needed a hobby, and I had a newfound determination to find pieces of myself that I had lost. I started an account because I wanted to document my new hobby and healing journey, and I was hoping that my story would somehow help just one person or give them a glimmer of hope. Never did I expect to find some of my closest friends and connect with thousands of creative inspirational souls all over the world, but here we are. This community has changed my life, and I cannot imagine how different the past 2 years would have been without this hobby and without all of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here. I’m beyond excited to see what 2020 holds and to have you amazing people in my corner. ❤️ Thank you for every comment, like, message, and virtual hug. Thank you for 10k. ✨

Who doesn’t love a meal that only requires one pan to clean afterwards! Here is Lemon Basil Chicken from wellplated.com! •
❥1 TBSP EVOO
❥1/2 large yellow onion, finely chopped, about 1 cup
❥4 cloves garlic, minced
❥1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
❥2 TBSP low-sodium soy sauce
❥1/4 tsp ground black pepper
❥5 cups loosely packed baby spinach ❥1 TBSP lemon zest
❥2 TBSP freshly squeezed lemon juice
❥2 cups fresh basil leaves
❥Salt & Pepper to taste
❥Prepared brown rice - for serving
❥In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium. Once hot, add the onion and cook, stirring often, until softened, about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 additional seconds. Add the chicken, increase the heat to medium high, and let cook for 3 minutes, browning all sides. Stir in the soy sauce and black pepper. Let cook until the chicken is completely cooked through, about 3 minutes longer. Stir in the spinach a few handfuls at a time, letting the heat of the pan wilt it as you go. Stir in the lemon zest, lemon juice, and basil. Cook and stir just until the basil is wilted, about 1 additional minute. Taste and season with additional salt or pepper as desired. Serve warm with rice as desired.
What kind of planner are you? Do you plan ahead or do you wait until last minute? I plan ahead...way too far ahead! I get ideas and then I have to start planning, many times I just write them down and go from there.
I have a plan for these succulents, but not until Addie’s birthday party (in May)! I wasn’t going to buy them yet, but I don’t like risking not being able to find exactly what I want when the time comes. I have learned the hard way one to many times about waiting to buy something that I see or want for a party (or otherwise) and going back to find it’s no longer available. That is never fun!
Now if only I had the confidence to keep these alive until May...thankful for a Grandma that “volunteered” to plant sit for me! #myeventsllc#succulents#partyplanner#planahead#dontwaitbuyitnow

I have never been a big “Planner”.
I know that sounds crazy coming from a Mom of 4-who runs multiple businesses?!?
It is true.
Although I am not a “Planner”, I do put EVERYTHING on my calendar.
That is a Must!
Our lives are in constant overdrive.
We give so much of ourselves, organizing, creating, accomplishing-and then, putting it all into play.
The question is how do we do all we must and still accomplish our own personal goals?
Allow me share some pointers with you..
1. ALWAYS add items to your calendar. EVERYTHING! From drop off to pick ups. Phone calls to deadlines-schedule them! If it’s on you calendar, then it’s a priority.
2. Priorities are key. Put yourself, your family and your work first. We all want to help others, we want to please. If you are overextended, not only are you letting others down-you are letting yourself and your family down. Learn to say “No” (something I struggle with as well).
3. Carve out downtime. If you don’t shut off-how can you truly be on? Meditate, go on a hike, go to the gym, get a pedicure, sleep in a hammock.. check out. If you do not practice self-care, you are not capable of authentically servicing others.
Just try on one of these pointers, you will immediately feel the benefit.
Establish, Enhance, Engage & Experience all things Social Media.

“Eating healthy is expensive” “I can’t afford to do that” “I don’t have the time to plan and go shop” .
All the old crap I use to tell myself before I decided to stop the excuses! It’s also only the few excuses I hear from people now.
Reality check: food is expensive in general! You will go out and stop at fast food place or order take out x amount of days during the month, go to the bar for happy hour with drinks and food, go food shopping and buy whatever. Instead of pissing away your money on unhealthy options why not take the time plan ahead, budget your money and get the right foods to fuel your body!
Yes prices vary with households however if you shop smart you can go for the healthy options instead of the cheap not so healthy items. .
One thing I love about both my nutrition programs is my nutritionists talk about how to shop smart. How to tackle the dreaded food store, how to plan ahead, how to get in and get out, how to buy in bulk for healthy options in order to save, how to still live and enjoy your life while enjoying your favorite things. .
Before I buckled down and starting taking this seriously I would just go food shopping and piss away money on whatever i thought would be good for that week. However now I plan head, plan how to tackle food shopping and now spending max $120 on items for 4 meals a day 7 days a week. .
If you are struggling with meal planning, food shopping, saving, budgeting, selecting the right options/ choices, etc than message me because you aren’t alone!
It’s Friday Eve 🥰 And no, I don’t call it that because I hate my job and count the seconds till the weekend.
My job is great (although at times it’s tough but what isn’t..)
I call this day Friday Eve because I usually spend Thursday evenings planning my weekend out.
As well as getting some extra sleep and spending time cleaning my house, I also have some goals I’m working towards in coaching and still studying my PT course too.
The weekend is the perfect time to get ahead on these projects, but also to spend time with my husband, relax and recharge, catch up with my friends and do some meal prepping.
And the only way to get aaaaallll this done is to plan ahead☺️
Anyone has any weekend plans?

"Life Jackets at the Grocery Store"⠀
This experience gets filed under "How to find preparedness items where you would least expect them". Over the years I have almost turned this into a game for myself, trying to find gear and supplies at stores that most people would not expect. Not only is this a fun mental challenge, it often results in finding great deals - since people don't expect to find these items at these stores, they usually find their way to the clearance table (or you can find store-wide coupons that can be applied to these items).⠀
Last week I was picking up a salad for dinner at our local grocery store. As I walked by the clearance table I saw the usual seasonal decorations, random lightbulbs, toys...and life jackets 😳 . I always keep an eye on this table for cheap, clearance blankets, towels, home storage, tools, and the occasional surprise item...but I never thought I'd see a 4 pack of life jackets. ⠀
Not only were they brand new life jackets, but they also came in a convenient storage bag, they were already marked 50% off and the capper...because they were on clearance...they were an additional 40% off. This made the $40 package only $12 or $3 per jacket. At that price, I had to take a couple of laps around the store to think about them. ⠀
I love, love, love a good deal, but ultimately I didn't purchase them. We don't live in a flood zone or by water, so these would have been purely a "you never know what might happen" item. I had to prioritize saving the money and reducing clutter over a great deal. Although if we did live by the water, or in a flood zone, or knew people who did, or owned a boat...this would have been a fantastic find.⠀
Do you ever play this game too? What is your best "surprise" find? 🤓⠀
Anyone else love a good breakfast AND need a streamlined morning? 🙋🏻♀️🥣🥄
Introducing Overnight oats. Inspired by my fav siblings @sdcatalano and @mistermjc I love when anyone shares their ideas/what’s working for them.
I took @traderjoes hot cereal, any rolled oats will do. Covered it with milk, any type will do. Pinch of salt, cinnamon, nutmeg. Put in the fridge overnight. Defrosted frozen peaches in the fridge to add in the am.
Frozen fruit is flash frozen at its peak ripeness. Often more nutritious than fresh fruit and cheaper. Another twofer!
Topped with @traderjoes ginger infused maple syrup. Which has been a luxury add to my coffee lately.
Easy to make the night before. I always prep 2 servings at a time. Prep once. Eat twice.
Some people like to heat it. Or add Greek yogurt for more protein and nutrition. You do you boo boo.
Keeping with today’s theme: cooking and nutrition are easy when you stop focusing on the recipes and start focusing on the basics.
Plus, peaches remind me of Blondie, my grandmom, they are her fav. Food is so much more than what you eat. 🥰😊☺️
Anyone else an oatmeal fan?

If your first purchase was a multi family owner occupancy loan, you are able to make a second purchase 1 year and a day after closing on your first property... .
Conventional financing requires 5% down with a FICO credit score of 680 or higher and using your rental income in Addition to your income quality for a second owner occupancy loan. Yes you still have to show the necessary reserves required and have leases in place for ALL units. .
You should be saving one year of your rental income from all units as emergency funds. You should have a strategic plan for obtaining your next multi family and creating continuous cash flow... .
Last week’s lemon lime spread! 🍋 This one gives me all the warm, happy feelings! 🥰 Last week felt so much like spring, and this week it’s Florida winter! 🥶 The low is 40° tonight, and that’s cold for us! Last season I carried a @djiglobal#mavicpro drone everywhere with me. The auto track mode wasn’t good enough to follow me skiing so I would position the drone high enough in the air to get the whole run in a shot at 4K. In iMovie I used a “ken burns” crop to zoom and pan the shot and export in 1080. That gives you the effect of movement that you see here.
It was important to me to film more than just POV and have some exciting new ski footage to add to my @blackcrows_skis documentary. Conditions lined up all season to ski some lines that I’ve been working on for years.
We had a really good idea that the pocket was gonna pull out at the top because of other activity on the face. If it didn’t I was going to go straight down through the chute to the left. If it did I was going to cut hard right and exit on that side. As I was skiing down I was wondering if I could beat it but the cliff at the bottom is a lot larger than it looks so I played it safe and went right. @blackcrows_skis @oakleyskiing @lebent_ @mountainflowecowax @roxa_italian_skiboots @surefootskiing#bluebird#powder#day#skiing#steepaf#steepskiing#avalanche#planahead#skifast#selfie#drone#dronefilm
