TWO YEARS REGISTERED AS A COMMONWEALTH AUTHORISED CELEBRANT
I received confirmation of my registration as a celebrant on 28 February 2018 - and on that day, Becky Married Me was born. 🎂
WOWEE time flies doesn’t it? My first ever ceremony was Alana & Mitch in June 2018. Ceremony number 50 is coming up on 7 March, for Kelsey and Mitch. (Mitch’s appears to be good husband material 😉) 🎂
I feel so proud of Becky Married Me. This may not be my full time job, but it’s a gig that has allowed me to not only meet, but touch the lives of so many amazing people. My life has changed so significantly in the past two years, but Becky Married Me has been a constant source of satisfaction and happiness. 🎂
Thank you to every single one of you. My friends, fellow wedding suppliers, precious and future couples and my loyal social media followers!

Check out this gorgeous face painting by @sharisenchanted on our beautiful Angela and Alex.
We were delighted to sponsor the kids zone at Sunday's Hunter Events Wedding and Wine Fair. We invited @poptheballoonchildrensparties to create the magical Mad Hatter's Tea Party theme and it was such a fun day.
SPECIAL OFFER - HAVE YOUR PET AT YOUR WEDDING STRESS FREE - AND FOR FREE! 🐶
Good Morning to my upcoming clients and Facebook Followers! 🐈
My beloved sister has finally taken my suggestion and started her own side hustle - a Pet Chaperone business for Weddings and Events! 🐶
We present to you: 🐇 @bestboypetchaperone 🐴
If you have booked me as your celebrant, and wish to have your furry (or feathered, or scaled) family members there too - you are able to enlist the services of Gab, at no extra cost! 🐢
Just make a comment on this post and I will get in touch with you - or, flick an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
What's the catch? After your big day, we would just ask that you leave Best Boy Pet Chaperone a review on Facebook or Google, to help build Gab's reputation. 🐕
Gab can offer a range of services, including: - Pick up and drop off at your home/other location (She owns a station wagon, so space is not an issue!). - Pre-event walk/game of fetch - Pre-event bath and groom - Chaperone/supervision during the event and for photoshoots - Feeding and watering throughout the day - Lots of treats, cuddles and kindness. 🦜
Like myself, Gab is an animal lover and dog enthusiast. We've owned dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, temperaments and backgrounds. 🐕
But she also owns a cat, and a horse - and has worked with all sorts of livestock. 🐁
Yes, she may be a "Horse Girl", but that makes for a bloody good Pet Chaperone! 🦃
If you're booked with another celebrant (I don't mind), we would also love you to get in touch, for a very special discounted offer for a limited number of bookings.
Pearl and Michele were married by our lovely Julie Winter and their perfect ceremony location was on the river at Eagleton in New South Wales on a stunning water-ski resort.
This location holds many fond and exciting memories so it was the perfect choice. It also hosted their guests in the quaint cabin accommodation and it’s very own rustic ‘Pub’ was put to good use.
To see if Julie is available for your wedding day, check out the link in the bios.
For the first 3 months of 2020, Wedding & Events Childcare Service is donating 25% of all wedding bookings to @wireswildliferescue ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Amy & Rory - 22.2.2020
So, I always joke that my couples can say “I do, I will, or yeah, no worries,” and Amy and Rory were the first to ever actually say “Yeah no worries!” 😂 - to the great delight of their guests (many of whom were from the UK). 🐳
It was an absolutely delight and so much fun to marry these two yesterday - with forty-odd awesome guests who were lapping up every single moment of this wedding TEN YEARS in the making. There were plenty of happy tears and excited cheers. 🐳
Rory & Amy did “getting married” the right way, they were relaxed, excited and utterly loved-up. It was entirely infection, and I think photographer extraordinaire @tatiana_rose_photography would agree. 🐳
Any marriage that starts with a high five during the vows will certainly got the distance.... I’m a celebrant I know these things. 🐳
P.s. I’ve got to get my camera fixed soon! These iPhone photos aren’t doing it for me 😭

I DO I DO I DO! Always the celebrant never the bridesmaid 😂 - can’t wait to MOH at my best friend’s wedding in July, joined by @wolfandwildflowerphotography behind the camera lens 📷
After the rain....! (And a good mow 😉) Only 4 weeks ago this lawn was at best a yellow hue and crackled underfoot when walked on. What a difference decent rainfall makes!
Looking lush and fabulous ATM 😁😁😁
Such lovely feedback from Fiona. Thank you!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Have you heard of the Montessori approach? As a way of teaching, Montessori takes the view that knowledge isn’t gained by passively listening to someone telling you how to do things. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Rather, it is gained through the children’s own experiences in the surrounding environment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At Wedding Events and Childcare Service, we approach caring for your children in this way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We bring lots of stimulating, educational toys and activities for your children to experience and make their own independent learning discoveries.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We also love integrating physical activity, movement and music, as well as cultural experience through play to build respectful relationships and understanding of diversity.
Ed has a very special message for the 94 people who can now say #beckymarriedme . How do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?

Look at us! Have you spotted us in the latest edition of the Hunter Valley Wedding Planner? We’re also online in their wedding directory, so if you know anyone planning a 2020 wedding, please let them know about us.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @huntervalleyweddingplannermag
We feel really blessed the children we care for feel comfortable sharing their special stories with us. Recently we looked after a 9-year-old boy who drew this picture of a fire and proudly told us his uncle is a firefighter in Newcastle. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you to all the firefighters across Australia who do such a wonderful job looking after us.
Thank you so much to Wandin Winery event coordinator Erin Kemmis for her wonderful feedback after we provided childcare at a beautiful wedding held there recently. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She said, “I highly recommend Michelle and the team at PSWECC to any client or event venue. They have fabulous communication and are passionate about what they do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
They take the time to understand the client needs and have a very flexible approach, working with and around all the moving parts that make up any event. They make everything easy for the client and for the venue!” - Erin Kemmis, Wandin Events & Accommodation Coordinator

One question I get asked all the time is; 'what makes a good wedding?'
And my go-to answer is this; 'just do what you want.'
If you don't want a cake, don't get a cake. If you want a live band and a heaving party, then do that. If you don't want to invite x, y & z, then don't invite them.
I'm not going to say don't listen to people. It's ok to listen. Just after you listen, filter through the advice and just do what you want.
Then you'll have the best wedding you could imagine. .
Or - just do exactly what Dave & Rach (pictured) did.
Their wedding was amazing.
