Because an ADHD as a diagnosis is self explanatory!? 🤷🏼♀️ No kid fits into a “box”, whether they have a diagnosis or not.
But just because they may have a diagnosis does NOT mean that they are “just like” their friend who may have a similar diagnosis.
The symptoms present differently, the ways to manage it will depend on the child/person!
What has helped us the most is remembering that as the 4 of us navigate through, we all need GRACE.
Grace when our youngest can’t remember or focus.
Or when mom loses her patience.
Anger and regret are often felt, but don’t solve anything; so above all I try to remember GRACE!

Flavored water= mint, strawberries and lime.....hope you all know if you're drinking enough water or not during your day. I was recently talking to a client that said she drinks plenty of water...so I asked her, "How much is that?" She said 30 ozs a day!! I was mind blown. Ladies, you must be drinking half your body weight in ozs of water per day! I don't care how or when you get it in, but DO IT!! It's the first step into building healthy habits. Drink it plain or add some natural flavors like I did today. WE'VE GOT THIS!!
I don’t want you to obsess about every single thing you eat and live in a constant state of restriction.
I don’t want you to buy into the latest trending diet and believe it is what will finally work for you.
I don’t want you to think you have to spend hours in the gym doing crazy workouts to make progress.
I don’t want you to believe that if you lose a magic number of pounds that you will finally love your self.
What is my hope for you?
That you’ll prioritize your health over what you weigh.
That you’ll learn you can eat foods you love in moderation instead of restricting foods unnecessarily and perpetuating a cycle of yo-yo dieting.

Been really tired and sick as of late, living with chronic illness isn't always easy. Mainly around how much effort and energy it takes to do something a regular person could do without much thought.
In many ways, it taught me to respect my boundaries, say no to things and prioritize healing, mental and physical health over everything else. It sounds logical but it isn't always easy to do.
Wondering if I am the only one that feels this way? I find alot of encouragement from the community of chronic illness sufferers, which I am thankful for such as posts from @annecarly.mm @gc_doodles@soolooka

Then when I am home, I sometimes forget to be present & spend time with them. Social media can be distracting as well as the list of things I need to get done.
I loved having 3 days off in a row and spending time with my cutie pie right here!
Now it's #backtoworkwednesday At least we are halfway through the week already!
My goal is to be more present with my family! Limit time on my phone when I am home. Do chores as a family, but also make time for fun as well as time to sit and talk and find out what matters to each other.

At my most disorganized point, I was managing by fire. Whichever part of my life had the highest "flame" is what got my attention. I was so busy trying to manage broken processes and squeaky wheels that I lost sight of the bigger picture. Not only was this ineffective, it was exhausting. 🌟 I've since learned to better manage my time and priorities. One strategy that helps with knee-jerk reactions is the 5-4-3-2-1 rule @melrobbins talks and writes about. If you're not following her, you should check her out. 🌟 I still get distracted by flames, but they don't automatically get my attention or energy anymore. I'm more intentional now. Have you found a way to keep your priorities in check? Who do you follow who inspires you to be more intentional?
The Little Things Consistently Produce Long-Term Results.
We often think about the BIG things we want to accomplish, but it’s the daily, consistent little things that produce long-term results.
Think about your routine. What things are you NOT doing consistently that hurt your progress?
We can’t just try something a few times and give up.
We need to prioritize to monetize.
We are the reason for where we are.
The question becomes, “Is that working for you or not?” If it’s not working for you, YOU have to look at what you’re consistently NOT doing, and take responsibility for it.
It takes COMMITMENT!
It takes PERSEVERANCE!
It takes NOT making EXCUSES!
STOP wasting time on dreaming SO BIG you don’t DO the consistent, little things every day.
It’s not hard, but it’s the difference between failure or success.
YOU CAN DO IT!

It’s hard to enjoy Fall since it’s a crazy busy time for us! 😆 It only lasts a minute so that doesn’t help! What are your fave traditions you make sure to do every year?
Remember a few weeks ago you saw me posting a ton about SLC, Utah!? I was there on an all expenses paid retreat with Young Living. 😍 ++Five years ago I bought a box that contained oils, a diffuser, and a few other goodies. What I didn’t know then was how much this company actually cares. •We are more than just an oils company, we are a WELLNESS company. I am not selling you oils, I am showing you a lifestyle change YOU can choose to make. ++ I went on this trip because for years I’ve continued to rant and rave about health, wellness, ditching and switching, and essential oils. I’ve taken not only my family’s health into consideration but you and your family’s health as well! ++ My priority isn’t taking your money or earning free trips, although those are nice. My priority is health! Period. • •• I don’t just focus on keeping my family healthy, but I focus on your family too. Take care of your body! I pay close attention to my diet and exercise but I still got sick (big sad) -
Taking care of your body is more than just fueling and workout plans. I had to make some adjustments to my schedule when I got sick. -
1. More sleep 💤: this was hard for me because I am an early bird, I love waking up and hitting them gym but since I have been sick I have been sleeping in more and going to bed earlier.
2. Food exchange 🍜. I usually try to eat an 80/20 diet but will I have been sick I have been focusing more on nutrition and fluids to help give me strength more than calories and macros.
3. Taking time to relax. I have a super busy schedules some of my days start at 7 and don’t end until 11. But I have cut back on my activities and commitments so I can catch my breath and focus on the most important things in my day 🌞. -
These are important things to do anyways, even if you are not sick but I had to prioritize them during this time. I will keep you all updated on how I am feeling and when I start the next week of my guide. -

I recently saw the coziest, most delicious fall sweater while scrolling on Pinterest. This was one of those sweaters that you could wear anywhere and feel like a snuggly million bucks. So I clicked on the pin. And nothing. Nothing! The link lead to a scary website with aggressive highlighter colors flashing in my face and no cozy sweater in sight.
I tried Googling it. But apparently cozy delicious fall sweater isn't descriptive enough (lol). Knowing what I wanted was helpful. Not understanding how to get there was super frustrating.

Weddings are for the memories made with the ones who mean the most. Don’t worry about every single guest. They will enjoy if they feel the love.... and have some good food and alcohol lol. .
Sure you wanna make sure your guests are having a good time at your wedding but it’s moments like THESE that I will always remember. When I could’ve been trying to make sure I said hi to every last guest in the room that I knew or didn’t even know, OR i could’ve taken the time to dance with my new little niece who i will watch grow up and who’s wedding I hope to one day attend ❤️ .
#prioritize . It’s your wedding day. Hug and kiss as many ppl as you can but for the most part, I recommend just staying on the dance floor ... that just me. .
I don't know what it is about this month but I feel so overwhelmed and like I am behind on EVERYTHING—especially housework 🙃 I shared this before, but since I needed to do it again today, I thought I would re-share. This is exactly what I do when I'm feeling overwhelmed with "to dos"—it helps me refocus, prioritize and give my life some direction 🤣
1️⃣"Brain dump"- list everything that’s on your mind. It might be tasks, ideas, important dates, etc. Anything that is "cluttering" your mind—write it down 🧠
2️⃣ Prioritize & highlight- go through your list and start prioritizing all tasks. I started with a pink highlighter and highlighted the most urgent tasks. Then used an orange highlighter for tasks that need to be done in the next few days. A yellow highlighter was for tasks that should be done this week if possible. Not all things ended up highlighted and that's good! Those are things that I can refer back to if needed or do sometime in the future 🌈
3️⃣ Sticky notes- this step is optional, but I like doing it because it allows me to see what I need to focus on. You can also remove sticky notes as tasks are completed or move up sticky notes as they become more urgent ↕️
Obviously you could just use a regular to do list, but this method really helps motivate me and makes me feel less stressed when I'm feeling overwhelmed so I thought I would share! Have a great week!! 💗
This week I’m prioritizing sleep. 😴 🛏 I can give more when I’m rested. I’m less anxious, less frazzled. Less foggy. Calmer overall. Long time insomnia sufferer here. So I get it.
