I have wanted to see the Harlem Globetrotters since I was a kid and they are coming to the State Farm Arena this Sunday, January 19th! When I looked into buying tickets it said "There is no description for this event" which I thought was perfect. 🏀
New project - empty for 2 years and time to breath some life back into this one... It can look daunting but there isn’t much to it, again we won’t be doing anything fancy. It’s a 4 bed ex local authority property, kitchen, bathroom, windows and a combi boiler. The rest of the property will be stripped and painted / plastered where needed.

This year I am looking to do rent to rent serviced accommodation with a joint venture (JV) partner.
I had a meeting yesterday with someone I have known in property for a year and it seems like we could work well together. Even though it was the first meeting it seems like we have the same values and goals.
What qualities do you look for in a JV partner and what things do you think are essential for the partnership to work?
Historically the property investment world has always been a playground for men. However, times are changing and figures show that more women than ever are taking the plunge and investing in property🏠
My advice would be to start as young as you can, I started my portfolio aged 23. As a young person, your strongest asset is time. By getting into property investing from a young age, you gain the ability to leverage the market and build your savings over a longer period of time. If you’re living at home with your parents and can save enough for a deposit take the plunge and invest it. Plus when you are younger you have less commitments, more flexibility in life and can take more risks.
Property can allow you to replace your income and leave your job or retire early. It is not a get rich quick scheme and it is not easy to do. It takes time, flexibility and ambition to make it work. The sooner you get started, the easier it will be and the better off you will be later in life.
Personally I love the independence and security that property has given me. It’s so refreshing to see more women are getting on board and recognising that owning a portfolio is simply another way to boost your income further and utilise your talent, skill and ambition.
