Despite the very mild temperatures at that time, the winter season is far from having said its last word! Did you take advantage of the weekend to get some fresh air? I needed my regular dose of mountains in the middle of nature so I took the direction of the Laurentian wildlife reserve today!
Here watching Geralt, the white wolf on widescreen. @henrycavill you look slightly different 🤣 🐺
Okay, but seriously I'm in love with the wolf lodges at Parc Omega. For this gal who adores animals, it was a dream come true to get an up-close look at a pack of this gorgeous beasts.

Eu odeio a praia, mas eu fico no istmo com os dedos dos pés na areia.
This weekend I had a unforgetable chance to sleep with wolves. Parc Omega just opened a brand new wolf lodge last month, and it was one of the most magical experiences ever.
The luxurious cabin sleeps up to 6 people and has floor-to-ceiling glass windows where you can see a pack of wolves. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Wolves have always been one of my favourite animals, (which is part of the reason I'd love to own a husky or Alaskan malamute as they look similar), so this accommodation was a dream come true. I was able to send the entire day watching the pack of wolves play together right outside of my window. While at night, I could hear them howling, it was truly unreal.
I'm curious; for those of you in Ottawa or Montreal, have you ever been to Parc Omega before?
First day off all week. I’m planning on resting, working out and going for a walk with my dog. It was a tough week, a lot of learning. Learning how to work in a team when there are differences in opinions, and learning to stand my ground when it comes to my scope of practice. I’m exhausted, but hopefully today will allow me to refuel up. What do you do when you need to reset for the week?

Happy Sunday everyone! Come join us today at 4pm for some as we continue our series on Mark. Enjoy a time of worship, reflection and fellowship. You’re invited, whether you’re part of the triangle community, any corner of our city or travelling here. We provide child care, a light meal, coffee and treats.. Hope to see you there! 👋 ☕️
By far, this is still one of the best places to watch the sunset. Personally, I prefer watching the sunset someplace outside the city in nature. But it's nice to have these views right in the middle of Ottawa.
🇲🇶 [EN] Walking on the frozen river in the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park. No worries! There is 30cm thickness but also feel likes -30ºC with the wind! 😅 With warm and appropriate clothes we can easily deal with it and walk for miles! 😉

This phenomenon we witnessed in Nunavik completely blew me away. The presence of sea ice combined with massive tides can create those walls of ice within hours, which can be several metres in height. Never-ending ice-climbing potential!
I climbed on top and asked my guide Jamie to enter the frame down below in order to provide scale.
Not too far from where I shot this, in the Ungava Bay, is the Leaf Basin, which vies with the Bay of Fundy for the title of the world's highest tides at 15+ metres.
