Sebbene la sua progettazione fosse cominciata già nel 1977, l’Audi Quattro fu presentata al Salone di Ginevra 1980 di cui si rivelò reginetta indiscussa. Lo stile, che riprende quello della Audi Coupé e ancora più nel profondo nella concept Italdesign Asso di Picche del 1973, opera di Giorgetto Giuguaro, la rese immediatamente riconoscibile ed iconica come le sue soluzioni tecniche. Dotata del motore da 2,2 litri con cinque cilindri in linea mutuato dall’ammiraglia Audi 100, è la prima Audi a montare la trazione integrale permanente con tre differenziali. Concepita per i rally, debutta al Rally di Montecarlo 1981 e vinse due campionati del mondo marche e altrettanti campionati del mondo piloti. La produzione cessa nel 1991 dopo 11.452 esemplari prodotti
‼️‼️ Today marks the first birthday of the_right_pedal. So many things have happened in the first year and it has changed my life forever. First off and the most obvious of all, I have gained 38,200+ amazing fans in one year and of those 38k people, I have met some amazing people and made some amazing friends. February 25th 2019 was my introduction into rally, I came in with literally no knowledge about anything, all I knew was that rally was awesome and I wanted to get involved. In that short year, I went from having 0 knowledge about anything, to making thousands of friends around the world, my own brand, launching a store, and becoming a Co-driver (more on that later😉). And I couldn’t have done any of it without you guys. The support from all of you has been insane and it has launched this account into the place of the fastest growing rally account. It’s not just an account though, it’s a community. This is a unique place that we have built up and the goal is to spread the word about rally and bring it back to how it was in the golden era. And with all of your help, we can do it. I want to say thank you to everyone who has ever done anything on my page. You might not think so but but every time you like a post, it brings us one step closer to our goal. So far we are at 3,000,000+ likes in the first year and that’s given us the authority to reach people from all over the world. Slowly but surely, this amazing community is impacting the sport. In the end, I want to thank every single one of you, whether you’re just here to like my posts or if you have supported me on my path. Thank you and I love you all❤️
