We make out in the backseat, tangled tongues and fire, rain kickin' ambition in the teeth as the city floats alongside us on a kite of secrets and whispers, pullin' down the shades of another dream as The Nazarene sells his crown of thorns to a scalper for a pair of orchestra seats at The Book of Mormon - A.Flo
This photo I took of legendary tattooist, Apo Whang Od was featured in this month’s issue of Sports + Travel Singapore!
Sharing my experience journeying up to Buscalan Village and meeting Whang Od back in 2017 in a new blog post.

Where the mind is without fear, and head of those oppressed is also held high.
Where truth is free from manipulation.
Where conversations over coffee is not on fascism.
Where my country has not been broken up into fragments
By their lathis, and hate speech.
Where the clear stream of logic has not lost its way
Into the dreary desert sand of hate and prejudice.
Where friends are not people who call you terrorist behind your back.
Where their history does not get in the way of my memory.
Where truth is recognised, and empathy prevails,
Where intelligence is valued, and knowledge is hailed.
Into that heaven of inclusion, diversity, & freedom from fascism, let my country awake.
~~Coffee, bitter like Fascism. .
