She was one of the most resourceful woman we met. From making lovely delicious food to helping us out when we were stuck in middle of nowhere, she was a superwoman.
We were having a hard time finding a pick up vehicle to get our bike down. She was up till late night and woke up really early making calls to arrange a vehicle. She was able to get us a MaXx (the only vehicle available in Lachen) which turned out to be an amazing pickup experience.
Rezang La is a mountain pass on the south-eastern approach to Chushul Valley in Ladakh, in the union territory of Ladakh in India. It is 3,000 yards long and 2,000 yards wide, with an average height of 16,000 feet. La means a mountain pass in Tibetan language.
This place is famous for Indian Army who fought to the 'last man, last round' at Rezang La (Chushul) (also known as Ahir Dham) on November 18, 1962. Without this crucial victory, the territory might have been captured by China.
I took a nice a light Dhanno (only a bag with my tyre repair kit) for a spin around San Pedro de Atacama to kick up some dust in the Atacama desert ✌️ I was in this exact same place, 8 years ago, but that time I was on a bicycle. On a motorcycle it was definitely a bit easier 😅 •
