Since Katie (and other guests) couldn’t eat cake, they decided to have popsicles instead! Dixie Pops provided mini popsicles tray passed with champagne, and regular popsicles to enjoy later! I’ve never tasted a better popsicle! .
To a very special honey B,
Just 🐝..••..•. yourself and do your own sting. 💛
Teamed up with the hubby again for the things that called for some 💪🏼. He built the wooden fence and cake swing (and a giant Jenga too — not pictured). But I like to think cutting and folding each petal then putting it all together to create the paper flowers made me do work too! 😉
Shout out to the talented @54thandbriarwood for adding her lettering skills to the banners! 👏🏼👏🏼
Brides, let’s talk about shoes. Of course you want your feet to look fabulous, but you’re going to be wearing those bad boys for a LONG time... so, don’t wait until the day of your wedding to break them in. Wear them around your house in the weeks leading up to the big day. Heck, practice your dance moves in them while you’re at it.
And, if your wedding is outside, and/or your doing photos outdoors, you don’t have to ruin your heels by sinking in the grass. If you haven’t heard of @thesolemates, now you have! These clear, brilliant inventions slip right over your heels to protect them and keep you from sinking. They’re also an inexpensive accessory to add to your bridesmaids gifts so their shoes are protected too. You’re welcome!
A few weeks ago we had a really fun and enlightening Education Event with Dave Otero of Movin-Tunes! @1djsimple He taught us about DJ'ing and lighting... we loved his stories, knowledge, and technical jargon (hee hee!). Many thanks to Corrina with @copper.collective_ for being there with us and capturing the fun in photos!
Switching things up with the bride in color and the bridesmaids in white. I mean, just look at @marguoyhc with her wedding angels by her side. Simple, elegant and chic! Who else is digging the white bridesmaid dress trend?
🎶Here comes the bride...🎶 Talk about the most beautiful aisle to walk down on the most memorable day of your life. Florals are the best final touch to any event. The pops of color, the texture, the sweet scent... they truly bring a ceremony (or reception) to life. And these florals for Christina and Kevin’s wedding by @maritakawaguchiflorals are floral perfection.
I don’t post too much about myself on my Instagram so I wanted to shake things up a bit for those of you who may not know me personally. I’m Michaela (pronounced Muh-Kay-Luh NOT Michelle or Michael 😅) and coordinating stress-free weddings is my jam. I love meeting new people and learning all about real life love stories. For me, weddings aren’t about all the “fluffery”, but about two lives becoming one, the joy of the celebration, and honoring the people that helped bring you to this next chapter in your life. Below are two TRUTHS and one LIE about myself. Guess which one is the lie and leave me two truths and a lie to guess about you!!
1. I love black licorice.
2. I’ve bungee jumped twice.
3. I lived overseas for more than a year.
