Scenes of combat, Upper Floor of the Tribute Tower of the Castle of Alcañiz, Lower Aragon, Spain

Above right (in the same room as the Labour’s of the Months), two crenellated cities separated by a mound in which there are 4 trees. In the second city, the flag of Castilla y León is clearly seen (in red). The symbols of the Order of Calatrava are repeated countless times throughout the paintings of this space, no doubt intended to celebrate the deeds of the Order. Further to the right, we see a Calatravo camp with its tents decorated with countless crosses of the Order. At the rear is a formation of soldier-monks with the emblem on their chest, mouth guards and even on their helmets.
Below is another chivalrous scene. Leaving a city where Castilian banners are held aloft as the army marches out, we see a troop of knights and soldiers richly dressed with abundant heraldic colours in costumes and carrying pennants that identify them: a vessel for those of the Lord of Caldera. You can also see a raven, a goat, and an eagle, etc. To the far right on the adjacent wall, you can see the knight riding away from the three weeping maidens in their castle (4th image) (previous shots show details of the maidens). At the very bottom is the Wildman and the Maiden (details previous shots).

Lydia Allison is once again spending a relaxing afternoon off at scenic Sunside Park. This time, however, her beloved mother Forsythia is joining her. They love spending time together, as mother and daughter should.
As this illustration clearly shows, Lydia bears a more than passing resemblance to her equally lovely mother. I guess certain traits just run in their family.
No roadtrip bucketlist is complete unless it includes a drive across the Alps. We rented a comfortable car at Zurich Airport and drove across Switzerland, the small micronation of Liechtenstein, into the Italian side of the Alps and back into Switzerland. Every few miles we stopped to take in the breathtaking views, the world-renowned alpine air, the sound (and scent) of cows grazing with bells hanging around their necks and of course to photograph the scenery. At one point we came across a pile of freshly cut trees on the side of the road. Upon stopping to photograph the lumber, my travel companion asked me why I found this subject so interesting. I responded that the contrast of man’s handiwork against untouched nature was incredibly beautiful to me and thereby made it one of my favorite shots of the trip. (May 2017)

Natural hot springs are great for heating up your microwaveable chicken parm (allegedly) . ..
Me iba a comer mi helado coño! 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦

The weather was amazing when we visited El Chaltén. So we decided to hike to Laguna de los Tres.
It's a very famous and very crowded route, even though it's 11km one way. We continued a bit further to get some space for ourselves and a better view, and it was definitely worth the effort 😃
