With polls closing in 2.5hrs GBP pairs will be very volatile with high impact news, but no-one knows which way, if Boris gets it it should go up or Corbin it will crash, NOT FACTS just my thoughts.
The best part about being self-employed is having the freedom to come home & be with the ones I love, whenever I want.
If there is something (ANYTHING!) that you are good at (cooking, hair, cleaning, child care, etc.) do yourself a favor! Figure out a way to translate it into a service based business. Build a brand around it, market yourself & create your own opportunities. It's a beautiful thing. I believe in you!
Christmas windows are great and everything but nothing beats doodling in a nice warm cosy pub on a miserable Thursday afternoon 🥰 so glad I wasn’t outside today! You’ve never once made me question the way you feel about me. Thank you for that.
You take the time to really understand who I am and what I need.
You hold space for my incredibly wide array of emotions and allow me to express whatever my flavor of the day may be.
You insist on confronting our issues head on, when I would rather sweep them under the rug. I need that.
You always seek for knowledge & a deeper understanding of the world around you.
You tell me so many random facts that you pick up from the 173940 books you read, and love a good morning coffee ritual as much as I do.
You can play just about anything on the guitar after hearing it once & always sing along to songs with me.
Your priorities are always admirably aligned and serve as a reminder to me when mine are not.
I love who you are and I love who I’ve found myself to be by your side. ❤️🙏🏼 #havingfeelings#ily

🖤Yesterday was a big day for me!
1 year of being self employed, bringing to life “Varvi Hairstylist”, and a dream that came true with loads of hard work, focus and consistency.
I’ve learned so much about myself, about having a business and what it takes to make it work. I never thought I’ll get there!
I feel blessed to wake up every morning looking forward to creating beautiful hair and make people happy. Learning new things every day and pushing myself to grow, to be able to inspire and get inspired from the world.
Thank you to everyone who’ve been there for me this year, my family who never stopped believing I’ll get things done no matter what, my good friends who reminded me my strengths, @peterpetepetey for creating my beautiful logo and support, and of course all of you wonderful people who follow me on this journey.
New projects coming up, can’t wait to share them with you!
Fab day today meeting up with some #leadingladies in our business ♥️. Can not wait to be able to reveal what's coming up next year with #avon . They truly are starting the next decade with some oomph. It's going to be amazing.
So many of us went to school to study our craft (design, writing, photography, etc.), yet we didn’t take business classes because either they weren’t required or we didn’t think we’d ever need them.🤷♀️
We were wrong.🤦♀️
And we missed out on simple business practices that really could’ve taken us far.🙈
Sadly, I see so many of my fellow creative freelancers struggle because of this, get frustrated and quit before they see any sort of benefit.😢
I get it.💯
Running a creative business can be difficult … because it takes BOTH sides of the brain to work.🤯
We have to work with numbers (ew) and do math (ick). We’ve got to be organized and plan ahead. We have to deal with people … sometimes difficult ones at that.😳
It’s hard. It’s not in our nature. And we don’t like it.😩
Somehow, though, over the past 20+ years of freelancing full-time, I’ve figured out the secret sauce.🍝
I’ve figured out how to get past these hurdles that stand in our way by using the right mindset, tools, and strategies.🧩
And because I’ve learned all these things, I want to give back. 💜
I want to help YOU navigate through the muddy waters. Help you set up policies and procedures that work. And help you stay motivated to find—and maintain—success.🤗
Whether you’re contemplating making the jump, first getting started, feeling stuck, or needing a kickstart, I can help.✅
Set yourself up for success in 2020 with one of my coaching programs so you, too, can become a freelance rockstar.🤘

Right now you don't know what to focus on to get consistent clients am I right?
That's why I'll break it down for you step-by-step what you need to attract & close ideal clients consistently.
>> A proper Niche: Knowing exactly the type of person you help & what problem you're solving. If you aren't signing clients you either hit the wrong problem, the wrong target audience OR you don't have a marketing message that grabs the attention & generates interest.
>> Compelling Messaging: you've have to have a strong messaging in place in order to grab their attention and represent that you're the expert at solving their problem, quickly.
If you see that your niche works for others but you, your messaging isn't on point & you won't be able to hook ideal clients into your world.
> > Outstanding Content:
Posting content consistently is NOT enough anymore. You've to have a strong content strategy built out, warming your audience for your offer.
Not only that but if your copy isn't attention-grabbing, psychologically built & magnetizing even if your content idea is good it won't come over.
>> Intentional,curiosity & value-driven DM conversations with ideal clients.
50% of your time should be spent in the DMs with ideal clients.
If you haven't mastered the art of DM conversations hit me up, this is the N.1 thing that will accelerate your business growth in 2020 to 5k+ months & MASSIVE impact.
>> Sales Calls
Having sales calls is te blood of your business.
When your proposal game is strong, you'll be booked out with sales calls & you and I both know where that can take your business.
>> Handling objections
As a coach & leader your job is not to run away when an objection arises. Objections almost always arise. It's normal, humans are afraid.Pull people into the right direction instead of running away.
Just by following these 6 steps you can be making 5-10k months.
So if you aren't hitting consistent 5k+ months yet, why?
Monday Funday! And about 10 minutes after this photo was taken we had a near blizzard kicked in!
How have your sales been so far this holiday season? Mine haven’t been too great but they’ve been steady, so I can’t complain!
I just posted about this in my IG story however I thought it might be worth talking about here as well. 🤔
When I first started reselling I only sold on one platform. Fast forward 2.5 years later and I am actively selling on eBay, Poshmark, Tradesy, Etsy, and ThredUp. I also generate income from YouTube, my podcast and affiliate links. That’s 8 streams of income! 😯
When you have multiple streams of income - there’s no such thing as a zero dollar day. 🤷🏻♀️ When one platform isn’t making you money, you’re likely making money on at least one other.
If you’re selling online and you’re not multi platform/streams of income, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Don’t leave money on the table! Of course there are exceptions to every rule (possible time constraints in your life) - but even then those situations can be worked out (outsource the work).
What are your thoughts on the subject? Do you have multiple streams of income? If so, would you mind sharing what it looks like for you?
