Snowy ridges in Snowdonia ❄ this was on the last week a few days after the storm, wasn't windy until the Summit and crystal clear all day as clouds on summit cleared as I approached. Headed up Lliwedd from Pen y Pass and then continued to Snowdon via the Watkins path then Pyg track for descent.
I still can’t get over these views so I’m sorry but I have to post more 🏔 “You deserve the greater glory
Overcome, I lift my voice
To the King in need of nothing
Empty handed I rejoice
You deserve the greater glory
Overcome with joy I sing
By Your love I am accepted
You're a good and gracious King”
#chimagazineit#royalfamily#famigliareale#windsor#buckinghampalace#snowdon#divorzi

I will be conquering Snowdon again this year with the Insta Charity Climb team raising money for Mind. I appreciate that I’ve done this challenge before but it’s about my own personal motivation and raising awareness of the importance of mental health. If you can spare a pound I would be very grateful xx

Twice I have drove to Rhyd Ddu to walk through Beddgelert Forest but each time I’ve got there I’ve seen the mountains and found myself climbing them instead. Today I headed up the Rhyd Ddu path expecting to have to turn around half way due to bad weather, but it was surprisingly calm all the way up. I must have been on the right side of the mountain... Coming down the Ranger path definitely wasn’t as calm but still not anything like the forecast.

Different mountain range, same sense of adventure 📸@nikistapes
So this year I wanted to do a challenge to be able to raise money for a charity.
Unfortunately a very close friend of mine father passed away the beginning of this year. Due to this we decided to do the Snowdonia Hike and help raise awareness for prostrate cancer and donate all the money raised to PROSTATE CANCER UK as they do a fantastic job helping individuals suffering with the illness but also loved ones affected too.
If anyone wants to donate to the cause, I have set up a JustGiving page to do so, so just hit the link in my bio, also thank you in advance if you do donate 🙌💪
Name this lamb and receive Welsh blessings 🐑 Don’t be sheepish, comment below! This traditional red phone box is a perfect place to hide away from the current stormy weather... Love this photo by @elle__uk
I’m actually typing this at 3am as the storm is rattling the windows and I’m unable to sleep (I admit the late night snack of crumpets was unhelpful) But with wet weather, comes a bountiful Spring! Britain wouldn’t be so green without it.
And without doubt, wonderful Wales with its romantic landscape of misty mountains, secret caves and mysterious lakes is a pure delight. This ancient land has inspired countless generations of poets and storytellers. This is a home of giants, dragons, wizards and the greatest hero of all was Arthur, King of the Britons, who according to legend will arise at Wales’ hour of darkest need to save his country!
But for now, this lovely phone box fits the bill perfectly! Have a lovely Tuesday ☀️ Photo by @elle__uk 🇬🇧 To be featured, follow and tag us! ‘Ta! 🇬🇧
Are you naturally a winter person? A winter lover? Ice baby? If not, guess what, I’m not either... Not naturally anyway. I’m a child of the summer, a lover of long warm days full of adventure. But I need the outdoors all year round. So over the years I’ve learnt to love winter, and I really do love it when it looks like this 💙🏔 So if you’re inclined to hibernate, step awayyyyy from the blanket, and take me as proof that you can love winter too!
The post storm Ciara and pre storm Dennis snowy weather window, and the possibility of it being the last chance for some snowy mountain action this winter, was too much to ignore today! Snowdon, you were a dream 💙 No views, but who needs views when you’re snow blind and loving life 😁
Despite the stormy weather we decided to visit Snowdon today. We quickly realised that reaching the summit would not be possible for us due to the gusty winds and poor visibility. We enjoyed the walk all the way to Glaslyn at 2,000 feet and then got blasted with a snow storm so decided to return. By the time we were on lower ground the sun had won its battle but to be honest we didn’t regret our decision, especially when Paul got blown over by a gust of wind. It was well worth the 2 hour drive and effort for such a stunning walk. .
