In school we learn that mistakes are bad, and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk.
My current favourite book is Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T Kiyosaki 🖤

I really want to start this again after getting side tracked and fogged. Also got mouth surgery so was out for some time. But i cant let vacations or other things have me slacking of if i want to be the best in my career. Plus i love Software its my life. Ive been hitting code the past 2 weeks but without posting but im back and i want to use this to keep me consistent.
I finished a ZTM web developer course and hitting Data Science ML course that really helps on the practical side. This is more of a experiment to see if i end up loving Data Science(which for now i do) or continue with just Software Development. Lets see what happens we got 100 days to go.

Monday morning meetings (and any catch up meetings) are just there because the state of play isn’t visible. Make work and progress visible and the need for long meetings where people justify and explain things away is gone. Stick to the facts and the data and get on with it! 👾
Had a pretty productive day yesterday. Edited the video pretty much all day, got all my meals done for the week and studied React Native a little bit as well 💯🔥 Had a little bit of a hitch while editing the video which set me back a bit but still managed to finish it early this morning so just waiting for it render now.
I should be able to get the video out tomorrow! 🙏🏽Video is going to be about my Desk Setup and what gear I use on a daily basis since I get asked a lot. So stay tuned for the video to come out 😏
I'll be spending today with friends, enjoying some time away from the computer and watching the game today! What do you plan on doing today? Lemme know! 👍🏽

[EN] Each person learns at their own pace and has a different learning style, there are different ways to absorb, process, understand and retain information and discovering the way you learn can help improve your performance.⠀
There are 4 most common types of learning styles, one person can have one or more styles combined:⠀
- VISUAL : If you are a visual learner, you learn by reading or seeing images. You like to see what you are learning, you will find something to observe if you get bored. You may have difficulty with spoken instructions and can be easily distracted by sounds. ⠀
- AUDITORY: you learn by listening and find it easier to understand spoken instructions than written ones.⠀
- KINESTHETIC: You are a "hands-on" learner who prefers to touch, move, build or draw what you learn, and you tend to learn better when some kind of physical activity is involved. ⠀
- READING/WRITING: You prefer to learn through written words, reading articles on the Internet, writing in diaries, searching for words in the dictionary and searching the Internet for almost anything.⠀
I am a visual learner and this has helped me to direct my studies, especially programming, and optimize my routine. What I do is always try to visualize things I hear, write ideas, instructions, draw flowcharts to understand new concepts. ⠀
Do your know your learning style?

Happy Monday Everyone!
Thank you to all that showed your support on the new video I posted yesterday! Got some good feedback and have a lot to improve on in terms of making videos 😅The whole process of making YouTube videos is sooo hard but at the same time super satisfying!
You don't really know how hard it is to talk to a camera until you try doing it 😂 Even editing them takes a long time and sometimes I get in my head about how something in a clip looks or the way I said something so I have to start over.. But these are just indicators of what I know I can improve on for the next video!
If yall havent checked out the video I posted yesterday, link to the video and my YouTube channel are in my bio! 👍🏽

“Let’s change the world, one line of code at a time” has been my mantra for the past few months. In a world where technology controls the world we live in, we need to take responsibility as creators and developers to make a POSITIVE impact on society. The Internet is a beautiful place. It allows us to connect with one another, collaborate on projects together, and openly share our opinions.
I challenge each of you to focus on developing for positive change in 2020. As developers we have a ton of responsibility to make sure we’re following ethical guidelines & respecting individuals’ rights to privacy. Some ways to develop for change are by contributing to open source projects, creating your own applications, writing articles, or creating content for any social media platform. What ways are you going to contribute? 👇🏼
Starting the weekend with my new CERN cup (after the old one exploded from pouring milk in it 😂), a healthy breakfast and checking the status of my physics analysis jobs.
Do you want to learn more about the physics analysis (search for new particles in ATLAS/LHC data) I’m working on? And what are you doing today? Let me know 😊👍🏼
