Das ist eine der wenigen Orchideen die mir gefallen! Leider weiß ich nicht einmal ihren Namen.
I don't like orchids very much but this one is so beautiful! Unfortunately i don't rven know her name.

We were off to a rough start. This plant arrived from an international import with the leaves completely rotted and covered in mold. It’s taken it’s sweet alien time but we finally have a leaf! It’s not the biggest, but it’s showing some great metallic qualities under flash photography. I hope I get the hang of growing this one before winter temps set in.
Can we get membership in the #OneLeafClub@naomiplanter?
I’m a busy bee today! Just finished building this moss pole prototype for a smaller plant so it’s a lot thinner, with sphagnum moss at the top, and LECA for where it will be in soil. No stake this time for more stability. What do you guys think? 🤔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, I’m off to see an optometrist and get all the supplies for this Saturday’s staghorn fern workshop! If you’ll be in LA this Saturday, come by! Sign up through the link in my profile. We’ll feed you yummy ube doughnuts and bottomless mimosas. ☺️ Also, HUGE thanks to everyone who’s going and helping me promote the workshop by reposting! I see y’all! 🥰🤗
🇬🇧 I love how the white veins contrast with the bright green of this #syngoniumarrow 💚
Syngoniums are such easy plants with such interesting leaf patterns, don't you think ? 🍀
This one just doesn’t stop growing.
I’ve decided to name her Paella the Pilea Peperomioides. I originally had trouble pronouncing the scientific name and commonly called this plant the paella plant... yes the Spanish rice dish 😅 anyone else getting hungry?

Frizzy hair and all! I love plant nurseries with my whole heart!! 💛🌱
How long do you usually spend at each nursery you go to? 🌿 I take like an hour to finally decide what I want to bring home 😂

Thursday is prayer plant day, right?
I'm not as big on these as I used to be, but her cute variegated markings pull my heart strings.
Aaaand we’re up to 8 leaves now! I had first received this from @pa_orchid_exchange back in February. At the time, it had arrived with 3 leaves, but with transport shock and my inexperience, it quickly dropped 2 of the leaves, and I was nervous that it wouldn’t make it. Look at it now though! If you check my page, you’ll see progress updates from the past few months. I am still in awe of the texture, color, and shape of the foliage. With each new leaf, the details intensify.
This plant grows in pure sphagnum with Osmocote slow release pellets. I’ve found that it does not like to dry out completely, so I’m always checking to make sure that the medium is at least a little damp.
Took my pearlies outside to catch some rays. ☀️ I can’t get over how many flowers they’ve given me, they just seem to keep coming! 🌸 Side note, don’t look too closely as you’ll notice how misshapen they are due to lack of water 🤭 My bad! Also really annoyed that the flower right in the centre of the picture isn’t in focus. 😒 #cantalwaysbeperfect
#philodendronbrasil showing off in the morning sun 💃🏽
For part of the year, only half the plant got direct sun so you can clearly see the left side has a lot more like green than the right 🤷🏽♀️ character building right!?

Alocasia Polly brought back to life after being in rehabilitation for 3 months. She nearly died at Lowe's. Got her on clearance for $12. She's such a trooper.
This peach-fuzzy #hoyanummularioides from the lovely @learning_2_grow has been doing pretty well! Time to transfer her into a more permanent passive hydro setup. Check out the last photo I took back in March. ☺️

Never give up. Life always finds a way. This stump was completely soggy/rotted when it arrived during an import. I threw it into moss and never really saw any activity. I sealed the container and set it on a shelf thinking I’d repurpose the container for another propagation. I happened to find it and was getting ready to dump it... and I found a little life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This Begonia is endemic to Ecuador and is listed as vulnerable on the IUCN red list. I’m beyond excited. If anyone has experience with this species please send tips.
Trailing Micans 😍 it’s been a long, full weekend. Enjoyed the local county fair on Friday, dinner and pool times with great friends yesterday, and church today. I even managed to fit in a much needed nap 😴 Happy Sunday ya’ll 🤗 #philodendronmicans
[Image Description: small potato-like plant bearing a tall vine with four intricately patterned leaves in a red bonsai pot] This is it folks. This is the leaf I saw a photo of that first made me want to get a #caudex plant last year. 😮 After literally 8 months of waiting for this gal to sprout, then wondering if the stems would ever make a leaf or it was just going to make small flowers for all time, here she is! 💁 My #StephaniaErecta has four unbelievably beautiful delicate leaves and I couldn't be happier. 🌱 The mosaic-like veining, the classic emerald color...CAN YOU GET OVER THIS? I can't. I'm done. 🤯
CARE: This #DirtyPotato took so long to sprout, I assumed I'd killed her. 💀 Finally, under a dome and on a heat mat and beneath a grow light, she did it! 🍾 I took the dome off when the vine started hitting the top, and she's been unstoppable ever since. 🏋️♀️ She's still by a grow light 💡and is on my east window shelf near the humidifier. 🌄 She's in cactus soil 🌵 in a bonsai pot and I'm watering about 2-3 times a week now. 💦
