I’ve been asked, how do you know what to film to practice. I say pick a subject and piece together a story. This could be literally anything from a soda can to a building to a person. Really, incorporate interesting movements and locations and film it stationary with PURPOSE and you will improve.
I also think stripping down our tools and keeping it simple works wonders too. Handheld, one camera, and one lens. This is a fun project I shot in about 30 minutes super casually of a good friend, @kegs_and_kilos, doing his thing.
Sacramento was on fire last night. Huge thanks are in order to the friends @snugca and to @photobraggins for letting us bring the @bakeshoptiki party to his beautiful new bar.
Just over an hour from San Francisco, if y’all haven’t paid Sacramento a visit lately, you really should. .
"A learning curve is essential to growth". What's the last thing you learned or worked at getting better at? I'd wanted to go to the Giants Causeway for such a long time, mostly to just experience it long before I picked up a camera. Then, when a chance came up to go, I got there and it was potentially one of the most miserable days with totally flat light and tons of people. I didn't expect when going to get an amazing, jaw dropping shot since I knew I'd only have a brief amount of time to spend there and not at prime light hours but I did think I'd potentially get more than one image that I could work with. This one is a shot I've been back and forth on for so long now too, unhappy or frustrated with the edits (I've still a lot to learn about post processing). However, I also think about, in the short amount of time between then and now, all the different things I have learned and what I'd do differently when I visit another time. It makes me excited to go back again and again to a place like this and work at something I love. Let me know what you think and much appreciated, as always!
#sponsored Roadtrip time💭🏜 What if your next selfie can help safe lives? As strange as it may sound, most crash tests are based on the avarage male. To help make cars safer for everyone, Volvo created The E.V.A Initiative Where they shared all their research with the world. To help @volvocars with their research all we have to do is share a selfie using the hashtag #SelfieForSafety and our next selfie can help save lives✨

Some Bordeaux vibes 😎☀️ If you get chance, visit the riders from there, they have such a great energy ! I’m really glad we could visit them with the @paristruckco team !

To say this trip has been magical would be an understatement. It’s amazing how a social media app has brought so many friends together.
