Had the absolute pleasure of dining at The Warren in Carmarthen at the weekend, before Storm Dennis really got going. .
What a treat. The above was the quiche of the day - Stilton and Mushroom. Served with a salad, wedges (out of shot) and a coconut slaw (!). Honestly I was a little dubious but it was lovely. They had a limited selection on their lunch menu but I really felt that was a quality selection over quantity
There was both vegan and veggie options available too. For health reasons I’m trying to eat a little less meat to see how more vegetarian meals might help me help myself. It’s such a relief to see more cafes and restaurants, like The Warren, offering a wider range of alternative meals for those who don’t eat meat .
I’m not in Carmarthen often but based on this I’ll definitely be visiting The Warren again to try more delights 😋

Hi I thought I’d give you all a bit of education th
About how the 1:1 Diet works. Whilst everyone in my slimming group is on FIRE at the moment ,we don’t always get the result we want on the scales!
Lots of factors to bear in mind...🤔
During the first few weeks of your weight loss journey with The 1:1 Diet, your body will take time to adjust. The first few days you will say goodbye to your Glycogen Load which is essentially your back up fuel and comprises of water and carbohydrate. This is where you work through those carbohydrate withdrawal headaches and get that great first week loss!! Water is especially important at this time 💦
Now we switch to fat burning mode and the extra energy kicks in - Gotta love this phase!! Sometimes your body will hold on to fat because of the reduced fuel on plan but it does submit! These fat cells wiiiilll deplete but then fill with water until they give up the ghost and B off 😂😂😂
Us ladies also have hormones to negotiate which can bring a water gain the week before your monthlies are due...again more water gradually throughout the day is the way to banish that water retention and get a favourable result on weigh in day.
So as you can see your body has a lot of work to do before it complies to your requests. Before you throw in the towel after a week where you don’t get a loss you feel is representative of the effort you have put in, just know that behind the scenes our amazing bodies are working very hard for us!!
Keep your head down, drink your water and let the magic happen ✨
Average weight losses following The 1:1 Diet are around a stone per month and most often a stone in the first three weeks and a stone per month thereafter - this obviously depends on your starting weight and Step followed. ⠀ #One2OneDietwithlouise#diabetes#cwpconsultant#cwpswansea#dreamdaredo#cambridgeweightplan#weightwatchers#ww#slimmingworld#lighterlife#diabetes#cambridgeweightloss#weightloss#followforfollowback#sketty#southwestwales#brynmill#gower#mumbles#cwpdiet#sleepapnoea#Obesity#newways#cwplife#tdr#mrp#vlcd#One2OneDiet#newyearnewyou@one2onediet

Menai House | St Davids | Sleeps 10

This is me snapping up high not along the southern Italian coast with the Mediterranean Sea, but in fact from the hotel gardens at the top of a hill overlooking Tenby North Beach in Pembrokeshire, southwest Wales.
This will be a familiar view for those who visit Tenby on the regular. Used to come here a lot as a kid during the summer break. Spent most of that time looking for crabs in rock pools, eating candy floss, kicking a football around & jumping into the sea from a dizzy height at the side of the harbour.
