🤍 THE POWER OF STORYTELLING 🤍
One of my favorite episodes every month 🌈✨ Amber and Melissa - thank you for sharing your stories, your words, and your journey with all of us. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This month’s episode reminded me that our greatest lessons and teachers are often the more difficult experiences from our past, and it’s often those difficult times that mold and shape us into becoming who we are meant to be. Those experiences can serve as triggers or motivators, and it’s up to us to decide what we’re going to do with them. They can either be used to fuel us and propel us forward, or hold us back. What will you choose? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Give this month’s episode a listen and share it with a friend (or two!) I can’t wait for you to hear these incredible stories 🔗 in bio 💜🎧
WIR ALLE SIND INDIVIDUELL UND WIR ALLE HABEN EINE GESCHICHTE! ♥️
Was denken wohl die anderen? Meine ehmaligen Mitschüler/innen, meine Familie, meine Freunde usw.
✨ #selfmotivation#motivation#everyonehasastory#storytelling#mobbing#beyourself#beyourownkindofbeautiful#happylife@picbe_the_beautybox

Last night I went to Atwater Tavern in San Francisco because our Client, Lewis Kallinsky of Zephyr Real Estate recommended them. Not only that, but Lewis is giving away a $200 Gift Certificate when you join his email list from the restaurant.
Lewis is THE GUY in San Francisco with a focus on Mission Bay, the area that he lives. When you follow him here on Instagram, he is OUT and about and KNOWS the area well.
So I grabbed a friend who is having a birthday and we had our celebration. Great time had by all and thanks for the recommendation Lewis! we like to support our Clients!

Bone trees. Once upon a time I lived in a shack in a holler of backwoods Kentucky. That was where magic found me and shook me awake. It was the darkest time of my life, full of extreme denial and abuse, but I learned magic. I didn't know then that animism was a term outside of anthropology class. I didn't know that the mythology I had obsessively consumed about ghosts, fae, and gods had any real teeth in this world. I was skeptical. Kentucky changed all of that for me. So here's this old photo I found of a rotting skull in a tree. I asked a neighbor why it was there, and he just shrugged and said "so and so just put it there cause it seemed right." Now I would wander in those woods and sometimes I'd just know I wasn't supposed to be in that spot whereas sometimes I just knew I was wanted there. There were times when I'd wandered and found the hugest trees I'd ever seen. Sassafras trees bigger than the chestnut oaks. Beech trees that were so big their roots must've formed the hill they grew out of. Hillsides covered in elderflower, patches of stream side blooming with swaths of introduced exotics- daffodils and daylilies that were both mutated varieties with double or triple blossoms. I'd go back and never be able to find those spots again. I'd get lost looking... now with bones, they just show up. And sometimes I would feel like I was supposed to take them and sometimes I'd leave them to rest. I didn't have space for an altar in the shack, but I did have a thorny black locust tree out front. I started stashing bones there without a second thought. They wanted to be there, in my bone tree. A tree of thorns and springtime flowers and bones.. I don't know at what point in time the wild caught me there and I was just its vehicle, gathering its bones and herbs and fungi to learn how to use them. When I left, it took me years to find my person voice again...winter is a time of compost, of dead things becoming fertile for new life. To grow new, one must invite the old and the dead and all of the dying process. Today I found by happenstance my journals from that feral time in my life. I thought I had burned them all long ago. I guess its time to churn my compost now.

I grew up around Estée Lauder because of my mom. I remember going to the skincare counter as a child and watch my mom smell and try on all the products. It was her go to. It was engrained that taking care of your skin and investing in skincare was the golden route. There is something very nostalgic about this brand and this counter. I hope to never lose that vivid memory of my mom and I.

Today I’m very excited to feature a podcast I could not adore more, @chattybroads. I need to start this feature off with a confession: I watch The Bachelor 😂🌹 I swore I would never ever watch and then it was actually my husband who asked me to try & give one season a chance, and I’ve been hooked ever since... DAMMIT, STEVE.
Chatty Broads started out as a Bachelor recap podcast, but it has grown into something so much more. While they still do their weekly recap episodes during new seasons (which are extremely entertaining and make me laugh nonstop) they also produce non-Bachelor episodes which dig into some incredibly personal and thought provoking topics such as sexuality, religion, mental health, motherhood/fertility, etc. I really admire the way they approach these topics - they use humor to make the listener feel comfortable and vulnerability to develop trust. It’s incredibly powerful.
About the hosts! @bekah Martinez was actually ON the first season of the Bachelor that I ever watched (Arie Luyendyk, still can’t pronounce it), and she was honestly way to cool for the show!! She had this sassy pixie cut and I think I remember hearing that she was the first short-haired girl ever on the show which... what?! But she’s also VERY funny, super smart and is never afraid to voice her opinion.
Jess Ambrose (@thebaddmom) is like your coolest friend who dresses better than anyone you know but is also a good listener and will drop everything to come over and have a glass of wine and talk with you when you need. I just feel her heart radiate out of my headphones. And like Bekah, she’s INCREDIBLY funny.
When combined, these two make up a powerhouse force to be reckoned with! Come for the Bachelor, stay for the heart smiles 💕
Any other #BroadSquad bbs out there?? Show yourselves! 🌹
As we unfold our sexual selves to the world, as we reveal all, as we fear nothing.. and everything. As we reveal our shared humanity, our most vulnerable stories, our sexual discoveries, the narratives and histories of our desire that were past down to us from our family, from our community, from our community elders. @submissionpossible is a dare. A challenge for us to shift the narrative. For us to celebrate our differences and our sameness our connections. It is a space for us to find our common struggles and our desire, for our pleasure.
It is a pledge to raise the voices of my community. It is a call out into the world for a producer and network that is willing to illuminate and support a show that will not compromise it’s values. It is a call to action to collaborate, to participate, to raise visibility and to tell our own stories.
It is a mission. It is possible. It is happening. So mote it be. #witchesofinstagram#therevolutionwillbetelevised#filmmaker#writers of instagram #storytelling#queer#kink#feminist
‼️The advancement of any community requires unity.‼️Always remember that. A unified understanding of the opportunity, unified action toward change and a strong, unified, support system. Storytelling is an important component in building unity. But even more important is listening. Listening allows storytelling to happen through a fully opened and informed lens. It is critical in building real narratives that don’t leave important voices behind. We’re here. We’re listening. And we appreciate every opportunity to do so.

I took a deep breath and clenched onto the door knob. While pushing down in slow motion something like out of a movie happened: it was like a flashback of my life up until this moment, my subcontious knew I have to let it go...
When my slow-mo scene was over light started to creep into the dark hallway, there wasn't a big window or anything, the room was just welcoming, like it knew what happened and wanted to give me a comfort hug. I layed my few belongings in the bed and looked around to kinda recollect myself. Over the bed stood a big hanw-written welcome sign and, on the tidy blanket there was a giftbox with a note attached to it "A welcome gift. Hope you'll like it here :) - aunt Lily & comp" I smiled and opened it wondering who "comp" is, inside the box folded nicely stood a pair of leggings, I presumed, but thicker.
I took them out of the box and started dressing up. After I put them on I went downstairs to find my driver taking off thankfully, with a sandwich in his hand, aunt Lily waved goodbye and turned to me, she examined me and smiled-
"I see you found your gift"
"Yes" I said with a kind smile "Thank you!"
"No problem, me and everyone thought it would be good for you"
"Now, I suppose you're hungry" she said interrupting me without even realising it.
I sat in a wooden chair observing her as she made me a sandwich, trying to capture her story. I didn't know how uncle Niles died, so, like any normal human being I suspected it was her.
We're always proud to partner with institutions that shape the culture of Denver, like the team at @denverarts. It was a pleasure to photograph their newest dining concept—Prelude & Post—just across from the Buell Theatre in the Performing Arts Complex. A perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and a bite before a show - opening soon!
Hey you! You rock!
- Fonds Psychische Gezondheid
January 2020 has already felt like a year of lessons and growth to so many of us! (These memes are killing me! 😂) .
As the year where more unresolved collective trauma comes more and more to the surface, we are being called into greater alignment with who we really are as the medicine for the world we are here to remember and co-create. .
In our greatest divinity and health, we have clarity and choice. We have our own narrative of what's real and true for us, to see what we see and believe it! This is the medicine for the confusion that arises along the journey home to yourself, of reclaiming your Queendom and your life. .
So as more of the stories rooted in trauma and separation, abuse, oppression, and manipulation come to the surface both outside and within us, how do you align with what is real and true for you? How do you connect with the flow of communication from your inner knowing? How can you tell what is a trauma response (and an internalized patriarchal program) and what is your soul's truest desire? .
On February 4th, we are gathering for our first SovereignQueen Circle of the year and decade - Reclaiming Clarity and Creativity. We will build your inner Queen Clarity muscles through the Queen Clarity Sequence (Clear Mind, Clear Vision, Clear Curiosity, Clear Body, Clear Communication). .
I am so stoked to collaborate with Sara (@shehopssheskips) this circle as she shares her medicine by guiding us through story telling (hint it is from Women Who Run With the Wolves!) and art making (intuitive creating with multiple mediums - no experience required). Rediscover and remember new and ancient parts of yourself through the story and expressing yourself. .
Meditation, sharing, movement, silence, listening, journeying, creating, learning, and holding each other through it all (with permission to do none of it!), this circle will be a powerful way to move from confused to confident, clear and an aligned co-creator of your life in simple, doable ways. .
Start making sense. Stop using jargon in your communications and you'll find it easier to connect with your customers. We promise! You're also likely to sound less pompous and people might open your emails! What's not to love??
We've had enough of all the jargon and have decided to try and stamp out the tech jargonauts with our #StopTechJargon campaign.
Join us and start making sense!

Deliverance CANNOT come from things like these, that are prepared and SOLD. Besides, YOU don't even know WHERE they bring thee things from. True deliverance comes from God and the POWER in the WORD of GOD... Don't be deceived please!
Whatever you do, don't expect to get HELP from those you give your ALL to. Do whatever you do in life because ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO... If you are kind to people in life because you EXPECT them to do for you when its necessary, the OUTCOME could give you high blood pressure.

Don Quijote: Here is my final project for the Foundations term at @thinktanktraining
From the beginning I wanted to find a concept with a meaning for me, something that motivated me even mire to work all the extra hours, long nights and early mornings that took me to make this project.
The project was inspired by my cousin Santi, I this image really represents him.
Santi has autistic spectrum syndrome and the way how Juan my uncle found to connect better with him is the bike. This connection made them cycle thousands of kms and even made them cross mountains with their tandem.
When Santi is on the bike he is a warrior and can fight against any challenge in life.
You can follow their story on instagram on @empujandolimites
If you want to see the high resolution artwork please take a look at my artstation. The link is in the bio.
The original 2d concept was made by Mateusz Lenart, for a charity Auction for kids with autism spectrum disorder 4 years ago.
Special thanks to my instructor Rusty Currier, to my family and to my amazing girlfriend @valeriia176 who is handling my long hours in front of the computer in the best way. #cgi#3d#design#storytelling#art#3dart#maya#vray#mari#substance#thinktanktrainingcenter#hardsurface#texturing#movies
