☘️ Day 9: Clifden > Maam Bridge > Cong > Kildaire > Dublin 🛑 Well, we learned a few things today. A- sometimes the rain doesn't stop after 20 minutes (it rained the entire 4 hours to Dublin and killed the views). B- cities just aren't for us, sorry Dublin! 🤦🏻♀️ However, we did get to see St. Patrick's Cathedral + lit a candle for our dads, Christ Church Cathedral, Trinity College (library), and The Book of Kells. It was just so mobbed, busy, and so rushed that we couldn't enjoy ourselves like we did in all the other towns. But, hey- we learned for our next trip and none the less, very cool to see pieces of history! ☺️ Heading back to the USA tomorrow afternoon! 🤘🏻
I'm in Portugal for another Han Solo trip. Get it? I'm going solo! My hashtag for my future travels (and previous travels once I update them) will be #mollyverstravels which is interesting because the arch in this picture was used in the 1996 miniseries of Gulliver's Travels. Gulliver's Travels was written by Jonathan Swift. This is interesting to note because I just flew from Dublin and visited St. Patrick's Cathedral where Swift is buried. All my travels are interconnected.
We had an amazing trip to New York. Went to our friends wedding, saw the Trump tower, saint patricks cathedral, time square, ground zero, and ate a lot of damn good food. If you would have ever asked me would I pick New York to vacation to I would’ve said no, honestly now can’t wait till we go back again. Made it even better to experience it with my beautiful best friend “MY WIFE!” #travelbuddy#newyork#bestfriend#wifey#mylove#Trump#stpatrickscathedral#timesquare#groundzero
ST. PATRICK’S CATHEDRAL
I first visited St. Patrick’s Cathedral about 7 years ago and it’s still one of my favourite places to wander around. St. Pats is one of the few buildings left from medieval Dublin and is over 800 years old. It is the largest Cathedral in the country and is world famous for its super amazing choir which still performs daily during school term in the mornings and evenings. Take a stroll through the outside gardens (it’s a great place to people watch!) or pop in for a tour(€8).
Finding new perspectives 🏙 Started off the other morning by going to the Top of the Rock with @nastasiaspassport and @pankratova916 to soak in the city. Some views seem to never change while others are constantly evolving with new development.
