HIDE restaurant holds a very special place in my heart. The first time when I visited was a reunion dinner with one of my best friends in life after graduating from college. As for the other times, I visited there when I came across something not delightful. Right now, whenever I have a tough week at work, I will come back to HIDE because I always know that coming to HIDE is such an enjoyful experience - palatable food, knowledgeable staff with the cuisine and wine, creative presentation, ever-changing menu and artistic ambience. Here are some of my favourites from my few experience with them:
HIDE: Crab tartlet with avocado & kaffir lime .
I love the freshness of this appetiser as it was the beginning of the summer in London at that time. A very light appetiser was what you need to start your dinner. I am a huge fan of seafood.
HIDE:Onion soup .
This is the best onion soup that I have ever tasted in my life. I have been missing this onion soup ever since I tasted it. I have been trying to find another onion soup that is as well-made as this one. But I still haven’t found one. I guess that I just have to fingercross and wait for them to add it in their winter menu again.
HIDE: Roasted pigeon .
As an Asian, roasted pigeon has been my guilty pleasure. My family and I used to have it for the family dinner. So when I first tried it in HIDE, it brought back so many memories with my family as I am now quite far away from my home city.
HIDE Above: Green olive & olive oil ice cream .
As an art lover, I really appreciate that HIDE is seeking creative presentation. Dessert is supposed to make people smile and find the sweetness in the palate. I guess that they succeeded in making me delightful again as soon as I saw the dessert. It was so beautiful.

🌮 Fish tacos med hembakad majstortilla 🌮
Igår bjöd vi på krispig fish tacos med mango och avokadosalsa. Fick tipset att baka egna majstortilla och det var magiskt! Superenkelt recept och det blev så bra och gott. Kommer nog försöka baka egna tortillas varje gång nu 😉. Och såklart hade vi picklad rödök och blandade ihop en het Srirachamayo. 🌯 Man blir sugen eller hur?
