Strings are something so serene and beautiful that they add a lot of texture and atmospere in your track.
Follow @1stlaunchsounds for more.
There is a way in which you can process your tracks, that have string elements to them.
The main problem you can find while mixing strings, is masking and building up of your low mids. This becomes a huge problem, because, we tend to use the same sounds dominating the same frequency range.
You can easily avoid this problem, if you follow the video, and what's shown in the video.
After watching the video, you will learn how to become a better mixer and make more informed decisions.

And a BRAND NEW COVER has been released onto my YouTube channel, this one of Lewis Capaldi’s “Before You Go”. •
I wanted to film a music video for this one, as I thought it would really help tell the story. One of the greatest things about life is the abundance of it all around us, and one of the hardest things is the time limit. This one is about being grateful for the time you had with someone you loved and how despite they may pass, you can never forget the impact they had on you. I opted to go for piano and strings for this cover - and of course sax - cause no cover would be complete without it 🎷. •
The link for the video is in the bio, and If you like what you hear, comment below if you want me to cover any other songs ❤️

My coffee bowls made from black stoneware, were very popular at the SMAQ last December. As my supplier was out of stock for the clay I usually use, I prepared a small collection in black stoneware for the next 1001 pots! It reminds me of the landscapes surrounding my new home and I named it the forest collection.

Γεια σου! It’s been a while since I showed my face and I want to welcome all of the new followers and art lovers.
I’m Theodora, an abstract artist living in a historic area of Richmond, Va, just a short walk away from museums, art galleries, shops and restaurants. As soon as I step out of my front door, I find inspiration everywhere. My family hates to take walks with me because I pause so often to admire random things with color and texture.
I grew up in a Greek family in a small town in Florida before heading to NC for college. My Hellenic upbringing is a major part of my life. You’ll catch me incorporating aspects of my heritage into my creative practice.
Painting is my sanctuary. It helped me heal from a brain injury, proving that making art is good for my health and well being. When I paint, the rest of the world and the worries of the day just fade away.
My art studio is in my home, which is super convenient for me and allows me to be near my family. I’m working on a new collection of Grammata, my ever-evolving visual language and expanding to textiles created from my paintings. Catch glimpses of my art practice in stories. Drop me note or a question about my creations. Would love to hear from you! 📷: @jeanbakerphotography
