I spy tiny (real!) pineapples and the most bloomingly beautiful pink peonies from @fioreofpensacola at our 2019 Conference!
It's no question that the florals we're surrounded with for our Conference every year make quite a statement of their own, and seeing how Shannon and the entire team at Fiore brings our design concepts to life always makes us (literally) swoon every year!
What flowers, fruits, or greenery do YOU want us to see incorporate into our 2020 Conference, so that it compliments the beautiful beach that is right outside of our window each day?? Share with us below!
p.s. We're going to be up to a little something on our feed this upcoming week ..... this is a sneak peek of what's to come, it's going to be fun!! 🙌

Day 1 with the boys in Professor Caffeine. Drum days are always some of my favorite days. I decided to switch things up and try some new approaches, and I think every single one of them paid off. .
Employed some stereo rooms to widen the mix, borrowed a couple Warm Audio WM-84 overhead mics courtesy of @jurassicsoundandlight (thanks guys!), a hi-hat mic for more panning versatility, and some more mindful EQ carving. Shaped up to be some of my favorite drum mixes to date.
In an effort to reduce the use of harmful chemicals in my studio, I'm testing out the traditional salt and vinegar solution to replace my usual pickle. I wanted to get away from the slow cooker if I could (I've left it on overnight more times than I care to admit). I use this mug warmer regularly so it was an easy selection. Picked up a few glass beakers and away I go! The studio smells like a salt and vinegar chip factory but I don't totally hate it. I'm happy with it so far, it takes a bit longer but slow creation is kind of my thing these days. Also I will still need to keep some of the old chemical in hand for any stubborn pieces and copper plating (I don't think I can do that with salt and vinegar....?). I can batch small amounts of the salt and vinegar pickle solution (🧪 not 🥒) and it's muuuuuch easier to get small pieces out because I can just pour the solution into another beaker.
What swaps have you made (or want to make) to keep your studio space safer for you? Chemicals and ventilation are two areas I am always working to improve. ⚒️
This morning’s vibe ☕️ I’ll be busy prepping for next Saturday’s pop up market in downtown Anchorage with @littlefishworkshop. Come shop local with many Alaskan makers ✨ Swipe onto the second photo for details!
Sorry for the lack of posts (I feel like I say that every few weeks). It’s been full steam ahead (is full electrons ahead a more appropriate thing to say these days?) mastering what feels like a billion amazing projects. A whole whack of amazing songs and albums came out today. So if you’re looking for something to give a spin, check out my stories. 1,000,000 thanks to each and every artist that trusts these ears and walls with thier art. 🙏
✨MOOD✨Gimme all the texture, bling and brushstrokes...... whatcha up to today friends? I’ve been in the studio most of the day playing (working) my heart out and it’s been a amazing experience so far. Exploring new ideas and I couldn’t be happier!
A big thanks to @lisciel at @forestlabstore for getting this beast to me all the way from Brazil! The is the two channel “Maletomp”, a beautiful sounding VariMu compressor with the ability to have a very fast release. I’m only a few hours in with it, but it’s got me grinning. Lisciel, you’re a genius. Big thanks to @josephchudyk_engineer for getting me hip to this company! •
