Alpine Crossing, Day 9: Küblis - Arosa.
After a well rest in the Terminus Hotel in Küblis, the 9th day started (again) with clouds. After crossing the river Landquart, the ascent began. While Küblis was still under clouds, I was soon in the clouds. The trail led through the forest, which was intermitted by fields of colorful fern and hill moors (1,2). When I got out of the woods, the route went on a forest road (3) to Obersäss of the Fideriser Duranna, where I was just above the clouds to see a few mountain peaks (4). I followed a primarily MTB trail over the Durannapass (5) to the alpine hut of Strassberg (6). After passing the houses, I chose to go the old road next to the Sapünerbach (stream) and got to a small, but nevertheless impressive gorge (7). Hiking the trail down to the village of Langwies, I went next by the Langwies Viaduct, an impressive bridge of the Arosa railway. Following the river Plessur through the woods (8), I passed the next village Litzirüti, the old power station (9) and finally reached Arosa with a last view on the railway (10).

Rather than tackle a checklist of famous Swiss mountains and resorts, choose one region to savor: the Berner Oberland. ⛰️🚡 Frolic and hike high above the stress and clouds of the real world. Take a vacation from your busy vacation. Recharge your touristic batteries high in the Alps, where distant avalanches, cowbells, the fluff of a down comforter, the whistle of marmots, and the crunchy footsteps of happy hikers are the dominant sounds.

🏔My last day in the Swiss Alps had me drinking Swiss hot chocolate (I was stoked but my bias towards Love+Cocoa will keep me from proclaiming much about it 😏) I highly recommend taking hot cocoa with you on hikes! It’s 10 times better than it’s already amazing-ness! My friend recommends taking coconut milk packets to add to Love+Cocoa while hiking, so keen to try! Thank you to my brother Jesse for capturing this moment outside our hut with the gnomes. Fresh mountain air, good company and cocoa...bliss 🥰 #cocoabliss#madewithlove#hiking#swissalps

Their's no end to the beauty of Swiss Alps, this time Schilthorn.
Also this is where one of the James bond movies 'on her majesty's secret service' was shot. So yeah this inspired my father and now he is trying his best to land the next James bond role 😛
Ever conquered a mountain? Stood on the top with a deep feeling of satisfaction? Looking in awe over an astounding view. With great inner pride after having overcome the bare rock, merciless sun and howling wind. One footstep after another.
Joyfully savoring your snacks and brought along food which now tastes like a firework of love and heaven. Enjoying the glorious vista and tonic of the wilderness...this is the topic today with @itsjojohannes! 🏞️🏔️✨💫🌌

Possibilities of not knowing - It may be it’s the most inconvenient conviction - I simply don’t know. But should it not be most profound admission either?. The moment you are content accepting that you do not know. It’s also the moment of reconciliation with unknown - not knowing. A moment of revelation. It’s also moment of curiosity, a moment of spark, lightning and rumbling of your thought. It is also moment of seeking. A moment of thought and knowledge triggering. A moment of provoking. A moment that you truly acknowledge the not knowing is as equal as knowing ( #visperterminen / #gebidum / #gebidumsee , 2019)
