Facebook had the pleasure of presenting me with a throwback this morning... I was 4 wks out in this picture, had consumed over a gallon so far, had consumed 3-4 meals I believe, and had gotten in 2 training sessions that day.
I'm proud of what I have been able to do with my body over the years.
It has taken WORK... and A LOT of it.
Do I look like this now?

I actually have a new goal I'm undertaking and working towards as we speak and I'll be sharing that with everyone in about a month or so.
I'm very excited.

Are you conscious of when you eat during the day and the amount of time you’re eating within?
When is your eating window? What do you eat within that window?
Is it lunch and dinner (1pm-7pm?)? Is it breakfast and lunch (8am-2pm)? Is it all day (8am-8pm)? @jciake and I are fasting in the morning until after our workout (8am finish time) and having breakfast around 930am.
To start the day, I consume a packet of @drinklmnt with Mito//Plex from @justpruvit before I workout. Then, midway through my workout, I start drinking my Keto/NAT from @justpruvit.
After we get home, we make our breakfast, I pack Jackie’s lunch while she cooks breakfast, and we make our coffee with a variety of different fat sources depending on the day.
Our goals are similar but slightly different. Jackie is going mostly for fat burning and removing body fat while I’m going for a little of the burning body fat but mostly aimed at maintenance and a little leaning out efforts.
That said, I’ve taken a note from @darthluiggi and have experimented with some whey protein right before my workout on some days to get the signals from leucine and lifting for muscle protein synthesis.
There are many ways to approach keto but it all depends on your goals and individual responses to adaptations.
One thing we all share in common is the ability to optimize wherever we are within our journey and support each other every step of the way.
No matter where I am in my journey, my nutritional intake is a non negotiable in terms of what I don’t sacrifice for any excuse.
I may consciously eat something that will knock me out of ketosis from time to time but I have systems in place to handle any elevated glucose load, which one is the discipline taken to create METABOLIC FLEXIBILITY I know my good friends @rachelgregory.cns and @marksissonprimal are big fans of.
Here’s an idea. Alongside reducing plastic and eating less meat to tackle the climate crisis why not pop on a woolly? Unless you’ve been clinically diagnosed as being addicted to posing on social media in your shorts and T-shirt at home mid-winter why not turn the heating down and grab a jumper? I had the most amazing experience with the incredible international speaker @jean_pierre_de_villiers, he has worked with some of the most elite people in the world, including @tonyrobbins ❤ and I got an up close and personal sitting with him, omg he did not disappoint
His charisma and attitude to life is infectious, as I listened to how he came from nothing, an abusive home, turned to drink and drugs and hit rock bottom, was inspiring and tear jerking.
What he taught me last night, was to be so grateful everyday for what we have and where we are, to rise every morning to our heart beating ❤
To take control of your life, we need to take responsibility for who we are and where we are going.
