Searching high and low for my next travel destination... and just can’t decide! I’m craving adventure and sunshine like I’m missing part of my soul! Tell me, where should I go?! I’m literally open to anywhere and have plenty of time to run away for a good while... 🤗
Today is the last day of my twenties!
This time last year I was living it UP in Tulum, Mexico. I was eating my weight in burritos. Riding bikes along the beach. Exploring these awesome cenotes. And loving every second of life.
I remember telling myself how I wanted the last year in my 20s to look. I wanted to be a better friend. Visit at least three more countries. Be a better partner. Say “yes” to more things. Have zero regrets. Be a better traveler. Recycle more. Keep living a little selfishly. And not put pressure on myself about my age.
And as I lay here on the couch all day- in sweats and slippers making zero effort to get a single thing done besides binge watch Great British Baking Show- I can easily I say I made myself proud over the last year.
Cheers to spending the last night in my 20s in a face mask and sweat outfit with a glass of wine- reminiscing about just how beautiful my life has been ❤️
The saying goes “when it rains it pours” and it’s so true. February has been a rough month. And it’s gonna keep being chaos until at least the 25th. The plus side? Tomorrow we get to find out if baby is a boy or girl and I get to snuggle up with my mom in a few days. So in the mean time imma just pretend I’m at the beach and not feeling overwhelmed by life.
Spending some time in Palm Springs and got to hit up @modernism_week! Took a tour of Sunrise Park yesterday and loved getting a peek inside 6 mid century houses in various states of preservation and renovation. Always inspiring getting an inside look at these beloved homes with equally fabulous outdoor spaces. See more highlights in my stories!
BEST STORIES DON'T ALWAYS HAVE THE BEST PICTURES
Our time in Berlin was amazing and it is a city I would love to spend more time in. One of the big standouts for me was the interesting graffiti. This isn't your usual tagging, most of the graffiti has a very political undertone. It was gritty and raw.
When you consider the history of this city, it is understandable. For so long many Berliners (eastern) would have felt they had no voice. So graffiti was a great way to express yourself.
The Rooster and I were recently in Montreal where there is a piece of the Berlin wall displayed in one of the shopping complexes and it was a very visual depiction of the difference that was East & West Berlin.
On one side of the wall the only markings on the wall were a small set of number indicating where this particular piece of wall had been located. The other side of the wall was completely covered in graffiti.
This photo for me is a reminder that we always have a voice and don't ever think you can't make a difference.
City of books
I could spend days in there
Watching the people, the design, the structure, the furniture,....
It makes me want to read books 📚 just to be in there
This is my Disney world .

My way of living on the EDGE! 🚢 Did you know that @Time magazine recently named this 1.2 BILLION dollar ship as one of the Top 100 World’s Greatest Places to Visit? If you’re thinking about a cruise, you seriously need to check this one out! Also, how awesome is it that the Edge is captained by the first American woman to command a mega cruise ship!? @captainkatemccue#girlpower#bosslady 👩✈️🙌

When we announced we were going on a trip around the world, my friends and family thought I was the one in our relationship who had this plan. They already know me for doing such crazy trips from the past. First South Africa, then Scotland and in between spontaneous short trips. In fact, however, Tim was the one who developed a solid plan from mere mind games and he was also the driving force in the implementation. But that doesn't mean that I don't want everything we do now as much as he does. I have followed Tim once before, then only to Hessen and I have never regretted that either. There I found great friends (here I send you 😘😘) and did my first great job. And now Tim just made me realize a dream that I always had. .
Would you go to the end of the world with your partner?
