🌳🌿🍃☀️🧚🏼The Sheron slowly walks along the bridge through a clearing. She pauses, taking in the sounds of the forest and listening for predators. Sunlight streams down to the forest floor through the trees, illuminating her path. Her long journey to the mountains was well worth it, for it fills her with energy and her heart is at peace.
We’ll always have Paris 💙 my absolute favorite travel memory in 2019 was this bike tour through Paris. Boz told me I would regret not taking my helmet off for photos, and you know.. sometimes he’s right 😹😹 what vacation are you looking forward to this year? -
Memory triggered by watching Casablanca + the perfect NYC weather this weekend.
Matadero is right by the Manzanares River. Now Madrid is known for many things but its river! However, Madrid Río Park, inaugurated in 2011, is about to change that. As the park encompasses land on both sides of the river, it has been necessary to build additional bridges. The Matadero Bridge is one of the 33 crossings. Its ceiling is covered with beautiful mosaics.
-We have just finished our incredible Southern Serengeti Photo Safari. The past week has been an epic adventure of phenomenal wildlife sightings in pretty crazy weather conditions. Tanzania has received a enormous amount of rain over the past few months. The plains of the Serengeti have not seen this much rain since the 90’s. Whilst we had good weather for our safari the roads were wet and muddy which made for some fun 4x4 action including an after hours experience in the Ngorongoro Crater. It was amazing to see the Serengeti, Ndutu and the Crater looking so lush and green. The wildlife is thriving, especially the Gnu and Zebra.
Our guests were absolute champions during the safari and we shared many many laughs!
Here are a few highlights of our safari.
We will be running another Southern Serengeti Photo Safari in Feb/March 2021. Please let us know if you are interested and we will add you to the mailing list. This information will be emailed in the next few weeks...
Thanks to team for such a fabulous safari. It was an absolute pleasure to host you in Tanzania and we can’t wait to see your photos. .
Finding all the hidden picnic spots 🧺 It’s hard to find a spot without any people around especially on a teeny tiny island but I must say that this place is my perfect little hideout when I feel like getting away from it all 👌🏻 I just love the formation of the cliffs and how it’s completely surrounded by greenery 🌼🌳 For me picnics are the equivalent of sunbathing but in winter, I just love that warm feeling on my face....it makes me feel so relaxed 😌 not too hot though or I will be easily turned into a 🍅 .
Do you have a hidden picnic spot? .

The more I see, the less I know, the more I'd like to let it go.

These Banoffee Pancakes @nicolaulisboa are so flippin' sinful !! Dulce de leche, Banana, Cocoa, Cookies & Cream 🤤
Riga left me completely gobsmacked 🤭 I went there thinking there might not be a lot of touristy things to do in February (which I wasn’t completely wrong about) but it was just what I needed...a relaxed long weekend getaway spent indulging in local foods and exploring the old town 🏘 I experienced a couple of firsts like seeing frozen lakes, snowfall, below 0 degree weather, a miserable attempt at ice skating and also some weird cuisine 😝 It took a 3.5hr flight to get there but it was definitely worth it 🙏🏼 .
Have you visited Riga? .

Over June and July I was very fortunate to go a stay with @kaluyala a modern sustainable community in the jungle in Panama.
Behind the cameras and swanky shots I met some really interesting people who are building their own culture & community built on sustainability. Going back to our roots to then rebuild, recycle and reuse.
The National Theatre (Národní divadlo) in Prague is the historical building constructed in 1883 and it's generally considered the prime stage in the Czech Republic. 🇨🇿
It is the flagship of the National Theatre institution, today amounting to four buildings and encompassing four companies. The entire nation collected money for the National Theatre. Here you can see there Opera, Drama and Ballet performances.
Pro tip: A trip to the theater in Prague is an excuse to dress up. Opening nights can bring out formal dresses and opera gloves, while business casual is the norm for most performances.
Also, when in this neighbourhood, you can check out these places:
SmetanaQ @smetanaq_cafe - For a modern design center, gallery, and waterfront café
Cafe Louvre @cafelouvre - For an elegant First Republic café and restaurant

Sooo how do I make my patio look like this though? Just landed in the states and can’t stop thinking about how I want to bring everything Morocco home with me. I got a tea set to make that delectable fresh mint tea, the Pom Pom blanket that were on our beds in the camp tent and riad and now I literally want to design my back yard to feel like you’re in a Riad Courtyard.
Does anyone have any good backyard furniture resources, ideas, pins they wanna send over or inspiring accounts to share? I don’t know where to start!
You can get a feel of what’s to come with his immersive works and participatory experiences just by walking through the courtyard. His aim of having the viewer ponder their existence and how they inhabit the world in this renaissance-meets-contemporary environment. I can’t wait to see the rest of the show!
Also this weekend is a fair “Firenze e cioccolato” dedicated to chocolate in Piazza Santa Croce (dangerous) both today and tomorrow all day and amazing artisan market “Hand Made MMXX” at @palazzosanniccolo . More markets can be found at today at Piazza Ciompi, tomorrow in Santo Spirito and Piazza Ghiberti
To celebrate carnival - Piazza Santa Maria Novella will have entertainment this afternoon around 15:30 and from here there will be a parade inviting costumed and masked participants to head towards Piazza Signoria Until around 7!
No matter where you are in the world, we wish you a wonderful weekend. I need coffee number two after researching this post (you’ll find more cool local events on my dedicated monthly post on the blog). 😉
