In my happy place (hid the obligatory glass of wine so you don’t all think I’m a raving alcoholic 😝😝😝). I’m trying the Orange Blossom Kisses Wax Melt from @booswax_melts for the first time. It was my favourite when I first received my brand rep box and lit, it definitely still is! and one I will hand on heart be ordering myself going forward 😍...don’t forget BASIL10 will get you 10% off all orders so treat yourselves 😝
Three antique staddle stones supplied by us.....and now looking right at home at this picture postcard thatched cottage 🏡
Staddle stones were originally used to build timber framed agricultural buildings on. Their mushroom like shape stopped rats from climbing up into the buildings and eating what was stored inside. Clever stuff 👍
Very chuffed with my wreath if I do say so myself! I’ve wanted to make one for above my fireplace for months and finally found time to run to Hobbycraft for all the bits. I really wanted lambs ear and peonies but I think these pink roses and the eucalyptus does the job nicely 🌹
I’m really missing my painting at the moment so I’ve dug out some little pieces from the garage and got my brush out for the first time since we moved here!
With my leaflets now printed and delivered to the local village magazine for stapling, I’m excited for all the lucky residents of Letcombe to receive it attached to the October edition! You never know it might bring me some new customers - fingers crossed 🤞🏻 #selfemployed#localbusiness#supportlocal#summerwreath#thatchedcottage#thatchedcottageinterior#cottagefireplace#countrycottagestyle#cottageinteriors
Spot the photo bomber 😬. Woken up to a beautiful sunny morning and about to go out for my regular Bio-sculpture appointment (once you’ve had Bio-sculpture, you’ll never go back to normal gel) but first...Yorkshire tea 😍
The beautiful hamlet of Hidcote in Gloucestershire and just some of the wonderful views in Hidcote Manor Gardens (a National Trust property that was my favourite place growing up).

Our beautiful Grade II listed thatched cottage in NW Leicestershire is back on the market after we had yet another buyer pull out due to their own personal reasons. Selling houses is so stressful and upsetting and I wish we had the system in place in other European countries, where buyers have to pay a large deposit. It would get rid of so many time wasters and make people think more seriously before putting offers in.
This house wasn't a development project, but our family home for the last 15. Bought at the peak of the property market in the early 2000s!

Minimal and Beautiful - It’s the Rye Hill Cottage in New Forest Countryside ! This is by far the cutest Bed & Breakfast I have seen in England. Every wall, nook and corner of this cottage was so esthetically pleasing; I have so many pictures of this place so expect more haha 🤣
This beautiful entryway is not the main entrance but a side door into the backyard. I loved the look of perfectly white washed walls against the thatched roof. Also, it must be hard to maintain white walls in the countryside right? If you live in the area, let me know in the comments
If only I had a house with such a beautiful entry way, I’d probably be obsessed over gardening and every spot on the wall - who am I kidding I’d kill a perfectly living plant in 2 days 🌱 🌸😐 I don’t have a green thumb but I’d definitely keep the walls perfectly white and clean !
Rosehill House opened its green half door to more than 1000 people over the past two days from far and near for European Heritage Open Day #EHODNI . We just want to thank everyone for coming and making it such a successful weekend. We hope everyone enjoyed it and we will see you again soon!
A massive thank you to our friends and family for helping us during the two days, we couldn’t have done it without you all! Thank you to Mary and all the musicians from Coalisland Clonoe Comhaltas, our story tellers Art and Vincent, Rhiannon for Irish dancing, Mary and Fred, Alan Annaginny Fishery & Park Farm Stanley and Barbara, Bronagh, Johnny Fee and Johnny Rush. 📸@_alina_dragan_ Britain's beauty astounds me,from idyllic countryside to iconic cities, there's no shortage of loveliness here.
And the smaller places are some of my favorites when it comes to seeking out charm.
Chipping Campden is quite simply one of the finest towns in the Cotswolds – well preserved and full of history but also full of life and bustle - a 'jewel in the crown'. The high street is full of pretty shops and lovely facades, and it all feels perfectly charming and a little bit further you can find pretty perfect cottages.
