My lovely couple K&K married last month at the beautiful @swanhotelweddings I loved creating Kirsty's bouquet with deep burgundy tones and a pop of soft peach with the stunning @david_austin_roses This colour scheme seems to be a real favourite for a lot of my winter couples and it's easy to see why! ❤️ Thank you to the incredibly talented @antonia_grace_photography for the photo
It’s ok not to feel ok.
It’s ok not to feel ok.
Siate reali, genuini.

CRACKS • Motherhood can feel a bit like papering over the cracks sometimes. Wiping off the snot/banana on the way out to work, spritzing unwashed hair with dry shampoo for one too many days, shoving the toys/laundry in the cupboard when the in-laws pop round, putting on a brave face. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of mending broken pottery. Instead of concealing the cracks, gold is used to emphasise the beauty of the story, the development, the change.
It can feel like a huge amount of pressure to get back to “normal” after becoming a mum. To appear to be not just coping, but thriving. To close off so we don’t show the cracks. But, what if we painted those cracks with gold? What if we owned our struggles and asked for help? What if we shared our anxieties and reached out?
If you’re having a hard time, please talk to someone. It might be a friend, it might be a professional, but whoever it is, talking could be the difference between being able to put yourself back together...and not.

Day 1 of the February Half Term and I am officially Ava’s snack b*tch!
It’s not even midday and we’ve already done our own remake of ‘The Hungry Catterpillar’! 🐛
She has eaten a bowl of cereal, four biscuits, a yoghurt, two pieces of cheese and a bag of crisps 🥣🍪🧀 But she’s not hungry enough for a banana/apple snack - funny that! 😂
I’m still open this week, but please note that all messages and emails will be replied to slower than usual! 💌
Notice this - I’m not asking if you have the answers, have all your sh*t together, know how things will pan out or even have a plan. But instead, is the life you’re creating connected to who you are?
You know the answer. Right now. Maybe it’ll be a bit of a messy, scribbly yes, another propped up and bandaged but getting there or one may have angels singing in announcement.
But, perhaps it’s a sinking no. The kind that ties knots in your stomach, or runs about like a naughty dog with a slipper she shouldn’t chew.
Regardless of the camp you’re in, take a moment to breathe and release fear from your response. Use whatever has lit up inside as a guiding light - are there changes to be made? Gratitudes to be said? Moves to make? People to call? Risks to take?
Listen to yourself. You’re always being guided, unfolding the pathways to your next destination. You know what to do, learn to trust that above all else.
Your one incredible and rare life is always connected to you - your answer simply depends how connected you are to it. ✨
Important Question: Do you spread Jam first or Cream on your scone? Comment below...and then swipe to peek inside this gorgeous tea room, which is housed in a 518-year old tumblin' former blacksmiths cottage! Love these shots from The Bridge Tea rooms in Wiltshire, England by @susanna_sue2
I ask about the scones as the Great Scone wars of 1431 in England claimed the lives of many Cornish freedom fighters over this question. Many Devon folk still insist on cream first but after a six week de-scone program in the Tower of London they often see the error of their ways!
And what a perfect place for a nibble! Dating from 1502, the Bridge Tea Rooms positively oozes atmosphere, and the classical music playing gently in the background sets a tranquil tone as you scoff piles of delicately cut sandwiches and jam-piled scones.
Even typing this is making me hungry. Love the fact the staff wear Victorian costumes as you succumb to tea-room heaven. For an extra quid you can be carried back to your hotel room for a much needed post-jam nap (probably)
Time for a cuppa! Have a great Thursday ☕️ Lovely shot by @susanna_sue2 🇬🇧 To be featured, follow and tag us! 'Ta! 🇬🇧
Happy New Year! Do you have a New Year resolutions? Mine: Less choccie biccies, more running up @lakedistrict mountains! Mind you, another good resolution is sitting in front of a sweet smelling fire in a Cotswold cottage like this and drinking copious amounts of tea. Fancy it? Love this by @janet.comer
Did you know these cottages really are ancient. Aye, it's true no houses have been built here since 1617, and most of the original medieval buildings still exist beneath layered facades but they are technically even older than that. For the limestone used is rich in fossils, particularly of fossilised sea urchins from approx 120-160 million years ago! It's like a real life Jurassic Park...watch out for the Velociraptors near the village green. They can be a tad nippy.
This is actually a perfect shot to describe the current weather in Britain. Hazy sunshine, very mild and can you believe this - the daffodils are starting to sprout up! Anyone else spot Spring....springing?

Today was SO important for me. I haven’t been walking in MONTHS, so today’s hearty stint along The Cotswolds way with @tarapunterpr and little Kiwi was exactly what I needed.
I make so small matter over the importance nature plays in our lives, in fact, I talk about it A LOT. And yet, I’m also aware how time can slip aware before we’ve realised we’ve not made it a priority.
